Constance de Grosbois is a Senior Vice President in the Mergers & Acquisitions Group at BMO Capital Markets, based in Toronto. She joined BMO Capital Markets in 2006 as an analyst in the Montreal office where she has built broad transaction experience across products and industry sectors, helping Quebec-

based companies raise several billions in debt and equity in the public markets and advising on a wide range of M&A transactions.

Susan Monteith is Executive Vice President responsible for Client Strategy & People Development at National Bank Financial in

Toronto. In this position she is responsible for implementing senior client coverage strategies for the Financial Markets group and for recruitment and development of employees. She has also held senior positions at Genuity Capital Markets and CIBC World Markets in equity capital markets and investment banking.

Nina Maria Fite became the United States Consul General in Montreal on September 9, 2014. Before Montreal, she served as Consul General in Lahore, Pakistan from September, 2011 to May, 2014.

Consul General Fite completed a Master of Science in National Resource Strategy (Distinguished Graduate) at the National Defense University’s Eisenhower School in June 2011.

Isabelle Paquet is a Director for the Global Equity Derivatives Group at the National Bank of Canada.

Maude Leblond | National Bank

Maude joined NBF in December 2000 as an analyst and has since worked in NBF's Toronto, London (U.K.) and Montreal offices.

Maude has worked on a variety of mergers and acquisitions and financing transactions with extensive experience in the different sectors of the financial services, including asset management, insurance, banking and stock exchanges. Maude holds a B. Comm from l’École des Hautes Études Commerciales de Montreal and a Master of Science in Management, with a Finance specialization from Queen’s University.

France-Anne Fortin is Vice President, Internal Audit and Compliance at PSP Investments in Montreal and has been with the company since 2009. Having previously worked as the lead Community Manager at OOHLALA Mobile, she helped launch the app across North American and European campuses. It was there that she developed a passion for community building, a value she brings into

her position as Program Manager of FounderFuel. Emma ensures that the day-to-day operations, event planning, marketing and social media

Nicole Kappos joined Pratt & Whitney Canada (P&WC) in 1997 and has occupied functions of increasing responsibilities in the areas of business development, customer satisfaction, marketing account management, contracts and procurement. Nicole is currently in the Strategy and Business Innovation team. As Program Manager, Nicole is working with partners to develop and implement the maintenance and repair strategy for

Derek is an Assistant Professor of Computer Science at McGill University where he focuses on computational analysis and modeling of large-scale human behavior on online platforms like Twitter and Facebook. He is also co-founder of Macromeasures, a social media analytics company. A native Texan, prior to coming to Montreal, he completed his PhD in Computer Science at Rice University. When not working, Derek spends his time swimming and building legos with his

two daughters, discussing books with his wife and infant son, and devising ways of keeping the family cat from chewing power

Coleen MacKinnon| catalyst.org Coleen MacKinnon is Catalyst Canada’s Regional Director for Quebec and the Atlantic. She is responsible for supporting members and building strategic, cross-sector partnerships to accelerate the advancement of women and the workplace. Prior to joining Catalyst, Ms. MacKinnon spent over 15 years as a social sector consultant in Canada and Australia providing counsel in the areas of strategy, communications, advocacy and fund development. Clients included a cross-section of healthcare, education and community service organizations such as McGill University, University of New South Wales, Jewish General Hospital, Canada World Youth, the Australian Human Rights Commission and St James Ethics Centre.

Melissa Dalmacio | CPPIB Melissa Dalmacio is a Advisor, Campus Recruitment in the Human Resources group at CPP Investment Board. She joined CPPIB in 2014 and is based in the CPPIB’s Toronto office. Melissa is responsible for campus recruitment for the Private Investment, Finance & Operations and Technology groups at CPPIB. She was previously with Deloitte LLP in Toronto, focused on campus recruitment and risk management. Melissa obtained her Bachelor of Administration and Commercial Studies with a major in Finance from the University of Western Ontario.

Pierre Laroche| National Bank

Pierre Laroche joined the National Bank of Canada in January 2007 and currently is in NBC’s Financial Markets (NBCFM) Group as Managing Director of the Derivative Products R&D team. His duties mainly consist in developing and implementing quantitative alternative investment strategies for the bank and its clients. In 2012, one of his team’s strategies won the William F. Sharpe Indexing Achievement – Most Innovative ETF Award. Mr. Laroche is also in charge of NBCFM’s Rotation Program.

Rachel Lau is a Journalist and Producer at Global News Montreal. She graduated with

Rachel also has certificates from the Institut d'Études Politiques de Paris and the New York Institute of Photography. She joined Deloitte as an Enterprise Risk Services consultant in May 2013, during her summer internship with the firm and returned full-time after her BCom. She has participated in several engagements with firms

in a wide variety of business fields, including pharmaceutical, media and finance. Her day-to-day job is to uncover her clients’

risks related to their information systems and operations and assess the controls in place.

Child Development Consultant, Gender Equality Advocate, Social Entrepreneur, and mentor are just some of the ways Maya Chivi chooses to give back. On a trip to Lebanon in 2011, Maya identified the need to empower community members with healthy child development practices. She created projects aimed at helping children, parents, and professionals and spoke out in the media to raise awareness on

children’s needs. In 2013, Maya gave a TEDx talk on girls’ rights to access education and on the effects of their pinkification by

pop culture and mass media. She was also invited by the Council of Europe to speak on children’s rights to equality, regardless of gender.

Sarah-Anaïs joined KPMG in March 2010. As a Manager in KPMG’s Advisory Services practice in

Montreal, she leads various types of consulting engagements for public and private sector clients.

Typical projects include strategic planning, business plans, feasibility studies, and site selection studies. She has performed numerous industry analyses and economic impact studies for various federal and provincial government departments and industry associations. As a member of KPMG’s Global infrastructure team, Sarah-Anaïs has worked on various public infrastructure projects in Quebec. Her responsibilities include managing client relationships, leading research efforts, preparing public reports and presenting results to clients or relevant stakeholders.
