Packing your bag

The first step to enjoy the most from JEWC is to prepare your bag with everything needed to enjoy the event!

The weather of Florianópolis is moderately cold and it may or may not get sunny at certain times of the day. Thus we recommend bringing in luggage a thin coat and a thicker one, so you can be prepared for any situation. There is also the possibility to rain in the windy days, so closed shoes are recommended. There will be no need to use specific clothes at any moment during the event. As all accommodations are hotels, you will need to bring only items of personal use, such as soap, shampoo, conditioner, etc.

Do not forget to bring your documents. In order to enter the event and the hotels you will need a Identification Document with photo (ID, passport or Driver’s License).

CAUTION! The default voltage in Florianópolis is 220V!Check your electronics and bring a transformer if necessary.

EXPERIENCE

26

Page 27: Participant Manual

Lead the co-era

Sometimes we do not stop to think about how all the galaxies and all the planets within them were once part of the same thing. A system with so much energy that exploded, giving life to everything we know today. Our atoms came from the same stars we observe today. The links between us since the formation of galaxies strengthen us, and it is up to us to figure out how to rescue these connections nowadays.

Each day of the development of JEWC 2016 will focus to convey a part of our message. It starts, in the first two days, with the awakening of consciousness, sharing causes and connecting. In the following day, we’ll put the construction of a new era in the spotlight, the actual execution. On the last day, the attendees will be directed to contaminate other people with the elevation of their level of consciousness. Thus, we shared a day for each level of co-era (consciousness, causes sharing, connection, construction and contagion) and, within days, we explored the three levels of leadership (self-leadership, local leadership and global leadership).

27

Page 28: Participant Manual

What we try to do with the development of this message is to create an orientation basis for the solution of the problems we face today in the context of the Junior Enterprise Network and in society in general. Understanding the combined potential of our isolated actions is what can make us a truly global impact movement.

28

Page 29: Participant Manual

Connections are essential

When entering the JEWC 2016, you will be taking part in the biggest event in the history of Junior Enterprise Network in the world, more than 3200 attendees from different countries. You probably will not live experiences like this many times in life, so make the most of every opportunity! The Event’s Organization Team is preparing various forms of interaction, which will facilitate the connections between junior entrepreneurs.

You recommend that in this moments you leave your comfort zone. Be vulnerable, allow yourself to know new people and face a world in a different way. That’s the difference that will make your event be unforgettable and life-changing.

In addition, throughout the event, you will be the leader of your co-era! All attendees will be free to follow or not the journey created by the organization team of JEWC 2016 as long as it does not hinder the freedom of another participant. However, we point out that the transport of attendees between programming sites, meals and workshops have set schedules for each group, and they can not be offered in moments different from what was previously established.

28

Meeting the event centre

JEWC 2016 will take place at the Conference Center Governador Luiz Henrique da Silveira, located in Sapiens Park in Canasvieiras in the north of the Island. Inside it, there will be several venues of interaction and living prepared to make you live JEWC experience the whole time.

On the lower floor, as soon as you enter the Conference Center, you will see the product sales areas (JEWC, Brasil Junior and Federations) and the space designed for you to clear doubts with the organization team of the event, which you should go if you have any needs that can be solved by Team JEWC Ahead that, you will reach the area of interaction, followed by the feeding space. Upstairs the schedules of the event are held: during the day, Auditorium 1 is divided into five rooms for parallel programming and, in the evening, it turns into a large auditorium for all attendees to gather in a moment of closure each day .

29

Page 31: Participant Manual

Each attendee will have a personalized journey based on the chosen programs. So, you must stay tuned to the codes of each program on your badge, because each of them will take place in one location. Furthermore, you must be aware of the schedule, valuing punctuality and respect with other attendees and guests of the event. In addition, some programs will require from you to bring specific materials to be able to participate. The registered attendees in these schedules will be notified by email after choosing it.
