01. MAINTENANCE AND MANUAL  General Precautions 

1. Level the pump to ensure proper lubrication during operation 2. Verify that pump cranckcase has been filled with the proper amount of lubricant 3. Verify that packing has been properly installed in the pump and is properly tihgtened 4. Tighten all studs, nuts and cap screw to the recomended torque values 5. Squirt light oil or other lubricant on the piston rods and rotate pump by hand to verify free 

rotations 6. Always do prime pump. This is a positive displacement pump and is not intended to operate 

dry 7. Verify that all valves in discharge piping are open. 

 Lubrication 

All the power‐end working parts are lubricatedwith oil from the cranckcase. It is imperative to check the oil level and quantity frequently   Lubrication Schedule

** The rated maximum input horsepower and speed is reduced 1.15 safety factor    Operation The  pump  should  be  run  at  the  ratings  provided  for  normal  drilling  operation.  Under  no circumstance should the pressure exceed shown for that diameter piston. Doing so would result  in operating loads in excess for which the working parts were designed, reducing the service life of the working parts
