FLEXIBLE COPPER BRAIDS

“FCB” SERIES” FLAT COPPER BRAID

The “FCB” Flexible Copper Braids are made from numbers of flat tinned braids. Ferrules are pressed on the end of the braid to form flat connection plates to bolt onto bus-bars or terminals. When ordering braids, determine current rating required, then add length in mm to Catalogue Number; e.g. FCB1 – 100/300mm. All sizes are nominal values. All Braids can be covered with Heatshrink upon request.

“RCB” SERIES ROUND COPPER BRAID

RCB30670 (ENERGEX)

Round Braid consists of one or more electro tin copper sections. Copper ferrules are formed onto the ends of the braids under high pressure to produce solid rectangular palms. Current ratings from 200 to 1500 amps. Specify length in (mm) of braid required. All sizes are nominal values. All Braids can be covered with Heatshrink upon request.

FLEXIBLE ALUMINIUM CONNECTOR Catalogue No. FAC

Used where flexibility required between rectangular bus bars and terminal palms. Connectors consist of high conductivity aluminium laminates layered to allow movement during expansion of the busbar system. The ends of the laminates are welded to solid aluminum bus bars. When ordering, nominate current rating and overall length required.

Used where flexibility required between rectangular bus bars or connections and terminal palms. Connectors consist of layers of high conductivity copper laminates to

allow movement during expansion of the busbar system. Plates are supplied to distribute bolt pressures over the total contact area of the connectors. When ordering, nominate current rating and overall length required.
