PART 2
PRAY WELL
LIVE WELL
EM Bounds
“It is only by prayer that God
can help people. He who
does not pray robs himself
of God’s help and places
God where He cannot help."
Praying well . . .
1. TIME ALONE WITH GOD
2. UNHURRIED TIME
3. MORE THAN A DUTY
4. IN THE NAME OF JESUS
MY PRAYER COMMITMENT
“And in the morning, a great while before day, He rose and went
out to a lonely place, and there he prayed.” Mark 1:35
“In these days He went out into the hills to pray; and all
night He continued in prayer to God.” Luke 6:12
I resolve, by the help of God, to set aside at least twenty
minutes every day to spend alone in God’s presence.

happen tomorrow.
James 4:13-15 (NIV)

SUCH A WAY AS TO MAKE YOU

85-YEAR OLD CALEB SAYS:
Joshua 14:11 (NIV)"I am still as strong today as the day
Moses sent me out;
I'm just as vigorous to go out to
battle now as I was then."
“Strong” Is the Hebrew word:
Chazaq
(KHAW-ZAK)
And He walks with me and
He talks with me,
And He tells me I am his own;
And the joy we share
as we tarry there,
None other has ever known
