Gilbert residents can sign up to include a donation amount from $2.00 to $20.00 a month included with their utility bill. One time donations can also be made. To find out more about the Neighbor 2 Neighbor Donation Program, go to the www.gilbertaz.gov/utilities or call 480-503-6800. Sign up now to assist a Gilbert neighbor in need. *Volunteer Coaches Needed!*

Are you looking for one of the most

rewarding jobs around? If so, the Gilbert

Parks and Recreation Dept has the one for

you! We are currently recruiting volunteer

coaches for our upcoming Youth Spring Ball Program.

Parents and friends are encouraged to learn ways in

which they can contribute to a child’s growth through

participation in sports. Volunteering to be a coach not

only gives you the opportunity to learn more about the

sport itself, it also gives you the chance to get involved

with your child and his or her friends.

The Youth Spring Ball program offers five divisions:

T-Ball (boys and girls ages 4-6), Coach-Pitch Baseball

(boys age 7-9), Coach-Pitch Softball (girls ages 7-9),

Boys Baseball (ages 10-12) and Girls Slow Pitch Softball

(ages 10-12).

For further information on how to become a volunteer

coach, go to www.gilbertaz.gov/parks/youthspring-ball.cfm or contact Mary Hahn, Recreation Coordinator at

480.503.6242. Season begins April 1 through May 9.

Help us make this season a memorable experience for

the youth of our community!

UMPIRES NEEDED!

The Gilbert Parks and Recreation Department is

currently recruiting individuals interested in umpiring

t-ball, baseball, and/or softball games for its upcoming

Youth Spring Ball Program. Previous experience is helpful,

but not mandatory. An umpires clinic will be held in

March and the department will provide all the necessary

training.

The season begins on April 1 and concludes May 9th.

If you are at least 15 years of age and would like

additional information about the clinic and or/

employment as an umpire in the Youth Spring Ball

Program, please contact

Fun and play form the foundation for our preschooler's foreign language classes. Within two or three classes, kids learn key phrases in Spanish, through simple, repeated songs and chants. These adventures, starring the Spanishkiddos, our multicultural cast of characters, take students to other lands and cultures to ensure that their language instruction is combined with cultural exposure.
