At that time there was limited demand for day time parking controls, as the majority of residents were satisfied with the existing event day only parking controls. More recently, building and construction work in the area has increased and parking controls have been introduced in nearby Bruce Grove and it is reported that these factors may have made parking more difficult in your road. Residents have recently contacted the council requesting that a further consultation be undertaken to extend the parking controls. And we have also received petitions from Birkbeck Road, Bruce Castle Road and Ruskin Road requesting a consultation on extending the parking controls to operate during the day, in addition to operating event days. The map on the reverse of this letter shows the review area and is based on the recent reports of parking problems and petitions received. If you think there is a need for extending parking controls to operate daily; then please tell us you would like to be consulted on extending parking controls to cover non- event days in addition to event days. Please have your say by filling in our online parking feedback form. This can be found on the council’s website at: www.haringey.gov.uk/current-parking-consultations under Birkbeck Road Area Review. If you have a QR reader, please scan the QR code above to access the web page and parking feedback form. If you prefer, you can give us your views using the enclosed freepost feedback card. If you think we should consult on extended parking controls, please tick ‘support’. If you are satisfied with current arrangements and do not want any further consultation, then tick ‘object’. There is also space on the card for comments and suggestions. Please remember to write in your road name and property number and ensure your views reach us by the closing date of Friday 2 February 2018. We will use the responses received to develop any future consultation boundary, so please note that if your road says no to a consultation, it may be excluded from any future daily parking controls. Please also be aware that if this opportunity for further consultation is rejected; the council will not consult again for some time as our resources will be diverted to other areas of the borough. Thank you for your attention.
