• Returning to Vehicle• Strength in numbers – return with a GROUP when possible• When in doubt or uneasy, call SECURITY, x4050 and request an

escort (if you are working on UC campus or in an offsite LBNL facility after bus schedule hours)

• Securely carry your door and ignition KEY IN HAND in a ready orientation for unlocking your door.

• LOOK around and inside you car before you unlock the door and get in

• Once in the vehicle, LOCK the doors, START the engine, and begin to DRIVE the vehicle as soon as is safe to do so keeping an eye toward pedestrians and other vehicles
