LEGAL NOTICE
Residents of the Town of Ipswich please note the Board of
Selectmen
will hold a public hearing in the Selectmens Meeting Room of
the
Town Hall on Monday, November 16, 2015 at 8:30 PM to make
the
following amendments to the Traffic Rules and Regulations,
Article V:
Stopping, Standing, Parking.
ADD the following to Article V, Section 4: Parking Prohibited
on
Certain Streets:
[h.10]:
MarketStreetSoutherlyside,beginningattheMBTArightofway
[RR tracks] and thence easterly for a distance of
eighty-nine
(89) feet to its intersection with Saltonstall Street.
ADD the following to Article V, Section 10: Parking of Vehicles
with
Attached Trailers and Parking of Detached Trailers Prohibited
on
Certain Streets:
[m]: Water Street Northwesterly side, from its intersection
with
the Town Wharf entrance and thence westerly for a distance
of eight hundred seven (807) feet to Scottons Lane.
ADD the following to Article V, Section 7: Parking Permitted
by
Those Who are Handicapped Only:
[n.1]: Depot Square Northeasterly side, beginning at a point
one
hundred twenty-three (123) feet northwest of its
intersection
with Market Street, thence northwesterly for a distance of
eleven (11) feet.

Regulations
All of the following amendments, deletions or additions are
within Article V: Stopping, Standing, Parking of the Town of
Ipswich Traffic Rules and Regulations.
MARKET STREET
Section 4. Parking Prohibited on Certain Streets Upon the
following streets or highways or parts thereof, parking is hereby
prohibited *ADD the following* (h.10) Market Street southerly side,
beginning at the MBTA right of way (RR tracks) and thence easterly
for a distance of 89 feet to its intersection with Saltonstall
Street.
WATER STREET
Section 10. Parking of Vehicles with Attached Trailers and
Parking of Detached Trailers Prohibited on Certain Streets Upon the
following street or highways or parts thereof, parking of a motor
vehicle with an attached boat trailer and/or parking of a detached
trailer is prohibited: *ADD the following* (m) Water Street
Northwesterly side, from its intersection with the Town Wharf
entrance and thence westerly for a distance of 807 feet to Scottons
Lane.

Section 7. Parking Permitted by Those Who are Handicapped Only
No person shall allow, permit, or suffer any vehicle registered in
his name to stand or park in any space
designated by these Traffic Rules and Regulations as a
Handicapped Parking Space unless said vehicle displays
a valid "handicapped" vehicle registration plate or placard. The
following spaces are designated as handicapped
parking spaces: *ADD the following subsection*
(n.1.) Depot Square Northeasterly side, beginning at a point 123
feet northwest of its intersection with Market Street, thence
northwesterly for a distance of 11 feet.
