Park House’s ‘focus’ this year…

We would like to increase the number of activities our pupils engage in independently and also increase the time they can do these activities for. This will not only give you time to do other things at home, but will also give ideas about extending pupils interests that could potentially lead into long term hobbies, clubs and potential employment and further study.

Quick activity- think of all of the things your child can do at home independently to occupy themselves.

How long can they do this for?

Are there any new activities you would like them to try?

‘Try something new’

‘Park House’s ‘focus’ this year…

• Clubs – there will be weekly clubs where the pupils can

try new activities

• Trips – each class can go on a half termly trip to new

places and have new experiences

• Allowing opportunities to work on independent activities

• All pupils engaging in group activities lead by Qualified

Teachers to access academic subjects with a focus on

independence and developing new skills

‘Try something new’ ideas for school
