Medium Voltage Bus DuctPark bus runs are complete lines of nonsegregated phase bus ducts designed for inter
connecting groups of metal-enclosed or metal-clad switchgear, power transformers or
other related equipment. Bar type, with aluminum or copper conductors, is available in
5,15, 27 and 38kV classes. All conductors are individually supported on insulating
members. All bars are coated with epoxy material utilizing a state-of-the-art, fluidized,
powder epoxy coating system. All necessary equipment is included to make a complete
installation. The bus duct is designed, manufactured and tested in accordance with ANSI
standard C37.23.

SwitchboardsPark switchboards are available with ratings up to 600 Volts AC or DC, a 6000
amperes maximum switch and a UL® short circuit rating of 200,000 A.I.R. maximum.
Our standard construction utilizes silverplated copper bus with 65° C temperature
rise, heavy steel enclosures and bolted electrical connections. Park can manufacture
a switchboard to meet your special design and delivery requirements.

Metal-Enclosed SwitchgearThe Park PM 315 features welded steel construction with wide view windows that
allow switchgear to be checked without opening doors. Corrosion proof, rainproof
louvers at the bottom and top, and space heaters inside each unit maintain air circula
tion to keep the interior dry. Three point cam-type, high-strength latches seal the door
shut. The lockable latches and screened louvers discourage tampering. Wide bulkhead
doors provide easy access to all bays. Each full-length door has durable, heavy duty
hinges with brass pivots. Foot-operated holders lock the doors open and give ample
room for pulling cables and making terminations. This unit is built in accordance withthe latest NEMA and ANSI standards and carries the Underwriters Laboratories label.

Interrupter switches are maintenance-free and are 600 amperes rated. Boric Acid or
current limiting fuses provide full-fault-spectrum protection. The switches are
manually operated by removable switch handles. Bus connections are silverplated
copper for long life. The HV meter bays are built to utility specifications.
'I..J•Substations
