ADULT FAITH FORMATION

First Friday Adoration Every month at Nativity 5-10 pm: Come July 3rd and join us in worship. What is Eucharis-tic Adoration? Understood simply, Eucharistic Adoration is adoring or honoring the Eucharistic Presence of Christ. In a deeper sense, it involves "the contemplation of the Mystery of Christ truly present before us". During Eucharistic Adora-tion, we "watch and wait", we remain "silent" in His Presence and open ourselves to His Graces which flow from the Eu-charist ... By worshiping the Eucharistic Jesus, we become what God wants us to be! Like a magnet, The Lord draws us to Himself and gently transforms us. In its fullest essence ... Eucharistic Adoration is "God and Man reaching out for each other, at the same time!" The Eucharist is: Jesus truly present - Body, Blood, Soul, and Divinity!

March Offertory: Budget - $37,916.67 Actual - $38,460.00 Surplus - $543.33 March FWWS: Loan Payment - $12,921.00 Collected - $12,337.78 Deficit - ($583.22) The amounts included in both collections consist of Sunday envelopes, loose cash/checks, online giving

Ave Maria is in need of adult volunteers to help out in the nursing home. If you can come to Ave Maria Home for a few hours a week to help brighten the day for our

residents, you will find out that your day will be better. We need volunteers to polish nails, take residents for a walk in nice weather, read or play a game with them and sometimes just a visit will help a lot. For more infor-mation or to volunteer, please Call 386-3211 and ask for Dawn.

“Then the people rejoiced because they had offered so willingly, for they made their offering to the Lord with a whole heart, and King David also re-joiced greatly.”

(I Chronicle 29:9) We say things like my heart isn’t really in this!”; “It seems to be only a half-hearted effort!”; “You need some heart!”; etc. Stewardship is about worship. Our wor-ship, any phase of it, should be done with a ‘Whole Heart’! God deserves more than our half-hearted efforts…don’t you think!
