First Friday Adoration Every month at Nativity 5-10 pm: Come July 3rd and join us in worship. What is Eucharis-tic Adoration? Understood simply, Eucharistic Adoration is adoring or honoring the Eucharistic Presence of Christ. In a deeper sense, it involves "the contemplation of the Mystery of Christ truly present before us". During Eucharistic Adora-tion, we "watch and wait", we remain "silent" in His Presence and open ourselves to His Graces which flow from the Eu-charist ... By worshiping the Eucharistic Jesus, we become what God wants us to be! Like a magnet, The Lord draws us to Himself and gently transforms us. In its fullest essence ... Eucharistic Adoration is "God and Man reaching out for each other, at the same time!" The Eucharist is: Jesus truly present - Body, Blood, Soul, and Divinity!

Ave Maria is in need of adult volunteers to help out in the nursing home. If you can come to Ave Maria Home for a few hours a week to help brighten the day for our
residents, you will find out that your day will be better. We need volunteers to polish nails, take residents for a walk in nice weather, read or play a game with them and sometimes just a visit will help a lot. For more infor-mation or to volunteer, please Call 386-3211 and ask for Dawn.

Our wor-ship, any phase of it, should be done with a ‘Whole Heart’! God deserves more than our half-hearted efforts…don’t you think!
SVdP Nativity Conference Report to the Parish Due to the prayers and financial support of the parishioners of Nativi-ty, the Society of St. Vincent de Paul Nativity Conference was able to provide 27 families with over $11,000 in assistance with food, utilities, rent, mortgage, and gasoline from January 1 - April 30, 2015. Our St. Vincent de Paul chapter is an active and viable part of the Bartlett/Raleigh community. Because the need for assistance is great, you can now donate to this worthwhile organization at anytime throughout the year by going to the webpage and donating through our Online Giving option and selecting the St. Vincent de Paul button. If you so choose, you can help offset the processing fees by selecting that option as well. Thank you for your continued and generous support of Nativity's St. Vincent de Paul chapter.
The Society of St. Vincent de Paul of Memphis serves a meal every day of the year at our Food Mission at the Ozanam Center at 1306 Monroe Ave. Volunteer Teams serve between 125-225 guests each day. Many guests are homeless, hungry, and in need a shared smile and gentle spirit. We are seeking volunteers to help serve our guests on weekday mornings. The time commitment is 8:30-11:15 am. -Our parish is very busy and we receive many requests to use meeting spaces and the church grounds. Please contact Deacon Frank Larker at 382-2504 to schedule your event. All requests should be scheduled as far in advance as possible. Those who use our facility are responsible for setup and clean-up. You must notify the office if your event is cancelled. Dreams and Spiritual Growth Retreat 08/14-16 Working with our dreams can be a great way to deepen our relationship with God. This retreat weekend, will discuss classical elements of Jungian dream work and the connection with spiritual growth and prayer. Through lectures, conversation and discussions, the group will work together with dreams from scripture as well as dreams from volunteers. Christian Brothers High School is now accepting registration for its 2015 Summer Camps. This year’s camps, which begin May 25 and run throughout the summer, include Sport Camps - All-Sports (runs through 5/25-6/26), Baseball, Basketball (boys and girls), Football, Lacrosse, Soccer (boys and girls), Speed and Strength, Track & Field (boys and girls), and Wrestling, as well as Band Camp (boys and girls).
