THE SACRAMENT OF BAPTISM !Baptisms are usually celebrated the 1st and 3rd. Sun-days of each month at 2:30p.m.. Parents who wish to have their child baptized at St. Frances must make arrangements with a priest at the rectory; parents having their first child baptized are required to attend a Baptismal Education Instruction. The instruction is held the second Monday of each month at 7:30p.m, in the meeting room of the lower Church!!
THE SACRAMENT OF MARRIAGE !Couples planning to celebrate their marriage at St. Frances should make an appointment with a priest at least six months before their planned wedding date in order to begin their marriage preparation and reserve a date for the wedding. !

Dear Parishioners,
Thank you for your continuing generosity to the parish in the Christmas collections ... both
the church and the flower collections are up about 15% from last year ... a final report to
come. We are beginning to think about and plan for Lent --- Ash Wednesday is March 1 and
we will continue to celebrate Stations of the Cross on the Fridays of Lent. The priests and
deacon will be giving a series of adult discussion groups on 4 Saturdays of Lent in March ---
explaining the Holy Week celebrations --- Mass at 9 am, Coffee at 9:30 am and presentations
at 10 am ... we are also considering a program explaining in depth the Mass ... more to come.
Let me encourage you to sign up for the free program --- FORMED --- you will be amazed at
the quality articles, videos, books, etc on this website explaining our Catholic faith ... also
check out the new parish website, it is great!... Remember EARLY to Mass, use the Mis-
