Hail, Holy Queen, Mother of Mercy, hail our life, our sweetness and our hope.To thee do we cry, poor banished children of Eve,to thee do we send up our sighs,mourning and weeping in this vale of tears.Turn then, most gracious Advocate, thine eyes of mercy towards us,and after this, our exile,show unto us the blessed fruit of thy womb, Jesus.O clement, o loving, of sweet Virgin Mary.CHILDREN’S LITURGY OF THE WORD: Today at 11:00am Mass.MASS COUNTS will be taken at all Sunday Masses during the month of October.RECONCILIATION & FIRST HOLY COMMUNION PROGRAMME 2016/2017: If you have a child in year 3 or above at school who would like to prepare for their First Reconciliation and Holy Communion next year, then please contact parishioner Liz Cooper on 01202 421922 to register. Registrations need to be made before Sunday 6th November please - applications made after this date will be included in next year’s programme.  Please feel free to pass this information on to anyone you know who may wish their child to join the programme, thank you.

PARISH 100 CLUB: The annual subscription of £15.00 is now due for the coming year (Oct 2016 – Sep 2017) and I hope you will be able to continue your valuable support.  Please hand your subscription to Dave Henman (11:00am Mass) or put it in an envelope marked ‘100 Club’ and post it through the letterbox in the Priest’s House.  If you have changed your address or you are a new member, please make sure you include your address and telephone number.  If paying by cheque, then please make this out to 'PRCDTR Bournemouth OLQP 100 Club'.  On behalf of all members of the parish, many thanks for your past and continued support.  Monies from the 100 Club have greatly helped in funding building projects and maintenance over the past years.The 100 Club has a draw each month for a £25.00 prize (three in December) and we need some new members please! The winner for September is Liz Hanson who wins £25.00. Congratulations!SPECIAL COLLECTION FOR WORLD MISSION SUNDAY: Next Sunday, 23rd October, after all Masses. On this day the whole Church unites in an act of universal solidarity in prayer for its missionary activity and in collecting funds to support the Mission of the Church worldwide. Thank you for your support.PARISH LOURDES FUND CAKE STALL: Next Sunday, 23rd October, after the 11:00am Mass in the Parish Centre. We need more cake bakers please. Come on everybody - show us your skills and help the cake stall! Thank you to all who supported the stall last month. £65 was raised.PARISH TRAIDCRAFT STALL: The next stall will take place on Sunday 23rd October after all Masses in our Parish Centre. As always, freshly ground coffee and teas will be served. Christmas items will be available: cards, Advent calendars, Christmas cakes (large and small), Christmas biscuits and some crafts.OUR LADY, HELP OF CHRISTIANS, PRAYER GROUP: Tuesday 25th October at 6pm in the church.CATHOLIC WOMEN’S LEAGUE: Fundraising for charity Coffee Morning: Sunday 30th October after the 11:00am Mass in our Parish centre.
