Civic Service Sunday 25th September at 6.30 pm
As part of our responsibilities as a Parish Church, we are again hosting the annual civic service when we invite the Mayor of Wellington and his guests to join us for a service of celebration of our community life together. It would be great if there could be a good turnout of members from All Saints to support the town in this way. Music will provided by the Wellington Town Band and the Jade Singers, a ladies choir, so this should be a memorable evening. After the service, refreshments will be provided in the Parish Centre to which we are all invited.
Helen and Liz Pattinson(Wernham) are swimming the Serpentine(1 mile) on Saturday 24th September in aid of Action Aid because
"they want every girl to have a safe and fulfilled life". Your prayers for them would be much appreciated and if you feel able to donate, they both have a Just Giving site or donations can be made directly to Action Aid. Thank you.
Betty Shakeshaft On Tuesday 27th September at 12.30 there will be a Thanksgiving Service for Betty Shakeshaft in the church with refreshments served afterwards.
Mum's Bible Study - Can You Help?
We need more helpers in the creche for our bi weekly Friday morning 10.00-11.30am Mum's Bible Study Group!
The group continues to be a great encouragement to the mums who attend, and it is a great blessing to them that we able to offer a creche to care for their babies and preschool children while they meet to study the Bible.
Our numbers have grown this year, so if you are able to spare a couple of hours one Friday morning a month (or even less!) this would be greatly appreciated.
