We, diverse members of Holy Cross Parish, seek to build God’s kingdom on earth. United in prayer, un-der the guidance of the Holy Spirit and in communion with the Roman Catholic Church, we will serve, teach, and evangelize throughout the community. ADULT FAITH FORMATION—Living Our Faith
UNLOCKING THE MYSTERY OF THE BIBLE provides the easiest way to understand the Bible. It makes the complex simple. This study helps you uncover the story woven throughout Scripture, and discover the Father’s unfailing love for you, that you are now called to share with others. This class is offeredSept. 4– Oct. 26 at three different times: Tuesdays at 9:30 am (English), Wednesdays at 7:00 pm (English), Fridays at 7:30 pm (Spanish). EXPLORING CHURCH HISTORY, part 2 continues the journey through the history of early church. Come learn how the Holy Spirit has revealed The Father, the Son and himself to His Church over the past 2000 years. This class is offered Sep. 5– Oct. 3 Wednesdays at 9:30 am or Sep. 6– Oct. 4 Thursdays at 7:00 pm. All classes will be offered at our temporary facility at 303 King Road, Frisco, Texas. 75034. Work is underway for Phase 2, and our Holy Cross family continues to grow. We hope these signs of progress are enough
to deem pledging time, talents, and treasure, to the GIFT Campaign, a worthy offering for those parishioners who have not
done so yet. The Most High is with us. Won’t you join in with your financial support to help us reach our goal of $4,000,000
by the feast of Holy Cross? We are at $ 3,100,945 as of August 27, 2018. Please do what you can!
Pledges can be made online at www.holycrosscc.org/GIFT by following the link on our website to the GIFT campaign.
Donations can be placed in the GIFT campaign envelopes in the pews and placed in the collections basket or GIFT box in
the back of the church.

Blessing of Pets
On Saturday, October 6th, at 10:00 am, we will have the Blessing of Pets by Deacon Richard Stal-der. The blessings are done in honor of Saint Francis of Assisi, the patron Saint of Animals.
Please bring your pet to the church grounds for this special occasion.

Mass Announcement:
As of Monday, October 1, 2018, for approximately 3 to 5 weeks,the 8:30 am daily mass will be celebrated at St. Sophia Ukrainian Catholic Church (located directly across the street from Holy Cross). Saturday evening, Confes-sions and Mass and all Sunday Masses wll remain the same as usual at Holy Cross. Thank you for your un-derstanding.

Autumn Bake Sale
The Ladies of Holy Cross will be having a bake sale in
the cafetería after all Masses the weekend of October
13-14. Donations of home-made bake goods are wel-
come by all who like to bake. You may bring them to
the cafetería on Saturday afternoon 10/13 or before
the Mass you attend that weekend.
Join in to support this event with your donations and
purchases.
