FORMED presents 10 weeks of Divine Mercy in the Second Greatest Story Ever Told
Beginning Divine Mercy Sunday, April 3rd through June 11th Renowned speaker and author Father Michael Gaitley tells the dramatic history of God’s love and mercy through the transformative message of St. Faustina, the miraculous appearance of Mary at Fatima, the witness of St. Maximilian Kolbe, and the papacy of St. John Paul II. Our Year of Mercy offers a perfect time to go to a deeper understanding of Divine Mercy.
Episode 3: The Suffering Servant (16 minutes)
In this session, we will hear a quote from a poem called “Into the Midst of Riotous Squabblers,” written in the eighteenth century by the Polish poet Juliusz Slowacki: “Into the midst of riotous squabblers God sounds his gong; here is the Slavic Pope, your new ruler; make way, applaud.” These words provide a prophetic foreshadowing of events that will happen a hundred years later. These events will become the Second Greatest Story Ever Told.
One-time Register with Parish Code: a566b5 - Thereafter, login at www.formed.org Each session will be available for 2-3 weeks only.

Episode 6: Fatima (20 minutes)
Against the backdrop of a world engulfed in war, the prophetic drama surrounding a small town in Portugal captures the minds and hearts of believers and unbelievers alike. In this session, we will see the miraculous drama of Fatima play out against this world at war, and see how these events at Fatima are a part of God’s plan to impact the world.

Lighthouse Book of the Week:Understanding Our Father
“Scott Hahn, in the first part of this book, draws on the experience of his own journey of faith, which led him to the Catholic Church, and on the wisdom of the Church Fathers to throw light on the essential spirit of prayer found in the Our Father. The extracts from Saints Cyprian, Cyril of Jerusalem, John Chrysostom, and Augustine, which make up the second part of the book, are a precious source of insight into Christian prayer. I hope the book will be used by many families, for those who use it will find their life with God strengthened and enriched.” - Francis Cardinal George, O.M.I.

support groups:
Give caregivers ideas for sustaining themselves in order to continue coping.
Give caregivers crucial ways to make meaning of their experiences through
shared, hard-earned wisdom.
Give caregivers the opportunity to connect with others facing the same challenges and
build friendships and companionship.
