ATTENTION: GOLDEN YOUTH TRIP

Parishioners 50 years and older. Join us on Wednesday, October 16, as the Golden Youth Club of St. Ambrose will be taking a bus trip to visit the Sea Center Texas in Lake Jackson. We will leave St. Ambrose at 8:00 am. Sea Center is a marine muse-um with touch tanks, an aquarium, a hatchery and outdoor wetlands. We will have a tour of the hatch-ery. Lunch will be dutch treat at Asiels. Asiels is known for their eclectic, unique and always homemade comfort cuisine. They make everything in house, including their mayonnaise, mustard, dressings, french fries, onion rings and tortillas Following lunch we will visit the Stephen F. Austin statue in Angleton for a tour. The statue was created by the same artist that creat-ed the Sam Houston statue in Huntsville, and stands 76 feet tall. We should be back at St. Ambrose about 5:00 pm The tour is limited to persons 50 years or older and bus seating. There is no charge for the tour, only the cost of the Dutch Treat lunch. A Festival of Ministries is coming to St. Ambrose!

The Pastoral Council is asking each of the ministries at St. Ambrose to participate in a Festival of Ministries to be held after all Masses the weekend of November 9th & 10th. Each ministry will set up a table in the gym and showcase what they do in the parish. This is a great way for everyone to see what is happening in our parish and a great way for the ministries to solicit participation!

St. Ambrose is currently seeking coordinators for Weddings and Quinceañeras. The main role of the Coordinator is to help lead the rehearsal, which involves walking through processions and the liturgy as a whole. On the day of the ceremony the Coordinator will assist in preparing the church for the celebration.Training is provided. If you are Interested please contact us.
