The Pat's Archery Handicap

The event is open to all members but you need to have an Archer's Diary handicap, which you can get by shooting in any club shoot. The winner gets a $50 voucher at Pat's Archery! re sizing. Discussion was held about making the shirts available to non-members. Pat’s Archery Handicap Rolfe reported that Pat’s Archery was prepared to sponsor a handicap event at Paringa on 29th March 2014. The event is to be open to all members, so long as participants have an established handicap. Registration can be on the day. Paul Korosi also offered to contribute prize money from Archer’s Diary, though it was thought that as Pat’s had naming rights t would be simpler to leave as is at this for this event. First Aid Kits Rolfe thanked Richard Goninon for organising and supplying a new First aid kit as specified at last meeting. Pat’s Discount Pat’s Archery online discount of 5% still applies to Paringa members, though the password has changed to ‘PARINGA’. Shooting Line; Discussion was held about the instability of the

pavers set into the shooting line. It was suggested

that the entire line be removed and re-laid,

horizontally and evenly spaced. Jeff Garner

informed the meeting that Parks & Wildlife will

need to be consulted to see ensure compliance

with their regulations. Caitlin to write to P@WS

to enquire.

Next Club Meeting: 12:30am Sat 5th April 2014

Rabbit of the Month

This section is dedicated to notable actions that members may on occasion happen to do.

And they only want $500k to $700k to build it!

The final say

The Launceston Challenge has been going well with current results at the end of the newsletter. The suggestion has been made to use handicapping rather than ratings for the next challenge. Let me know what you think. There has been some more discussion lately about building an Indoor facility. At this stage Parks and Wildlife have not been approached and everything is very much in the ideas phase. If you have any ideas please let a committee member know so that we can develop this into a long term strategy for the club. Kit sheds with 2 roller door and gabled roof have been quoted from $25k - $35k + $25k for piers and assembly. No power or floor.

Five possible locations for a 12m(W) x 30m(L) x 3m (Wall H) shed. (Not to scale)
