If you wish to schedule an appointment with your child’s homeroom teacher, please complete the “Request for Conference” form at the bottom of this page indicating your 1 st and 2 nd choice for an interview time. While the Progress Report provides you with important information regarding your child’s general progress, the Parent-Teacher Conference provides an opportunity to personally meet with the teacher to discuss your child’s strengths, weaknesses and next steps for improvement. If you’re unable to attend interviews on November 6 th we’d encourage you to reach out to your child’s teacher to discuss their progress at a date and time that works for you. As always, we encourage ongoing communication throughout the year not just around reporting dates. Your partnership is always appreciated. We have scheduled 10 minutes for each Parent-Teacher Conference. It is important that we adhere to this schedule as other parents will be waiting for their conference. If you feel you have additional questions or items to discuss with your child’s teacher, feel free to schedule a follow-up meeting with him/her. If your child receives Special Education Resource support and you wish Mr. Garrett or Ms. Buragina to be part of the conference, please check below. You must give more than 1 choice for appointment times and though we will try to accommodate you we cannot guarantee your first choice. We will do our best and if you have more than one interview, we will try to schedule them back-to-back, where possible. Please return this form by Wednesday, October 30 th , 2019 so that we can start slotting in interview times.
