Southwest Human Development provides educaon, health, development, and disability services to children birth to five. Would you like to help your child get ready for kindergarten? Born Learning gives informaon on how children learn, starng at birth, and what role parents play in that learning. Visit their website at www.bornlearning.org to find out more. Child Care Resource and Referral helps families find quality child care. Call them at 1-800-308-9000, or visit hp://azchildcare.org. Contact your local library for informaon on story mes. Does your child need assistance in school? If your child aends a Title 1 school, she/he may be eligible for free tutoring under the No Child Leſt Behind Act. Ask your school if you qualify for this service. The Associaon for Supporve Childcare has a free, bilingual helpline for children ages 5-18 to call aſter school hours when they need homework help, or just someone to talk to. The number is 602-235-9099 or toll-free 1-800-308-2000. Many organizaons provide clothes and uniforms for children to wear to school. Ask your child’s teacher to connect you with the school social worker to find out how to receive these services. Want to start preparing your child for college and a career NOW?
