Grassroots Teams
• 2 Sessions: Nov – Feb & Feb - April• Open to 8 – 12 Year Old Boys or Girls• 3-4 Regional Scrimmage Tournaments each session• 1-2 Practices per Week• Expected Costs $250/session + USAV Membership
Developmental Clinics
2nd - 4th Grade & 5th– 8th Grade Sessions
• 4 - 6 Weekly Clinic Sessions beginning in January• Boys and Girls Welcome
• Focus on Proper Fundamentals in Game-like situations• Expected Cost: $125 - $200 + USAV Membership
USAV Membership Cost
Grassroots / Developmental Level• 8 & under Membership – cost is FREE
• 9 &10 year olds – Youth Membership cost - $15.00
• 11 & Over - Developmental Membership - cost $ 50.00
• These memberships are for clinic/grassroots only and do not allow players to compete in sanctioned USAV club tournaments

Competition Team Timeline• November Tryouts • Practice begin in November
• Tournaments: January – April• USAV or AAU Nationals: May & June
Practices will be held at UWF Field House and other sites as needed
Practices – Open Door last 15 minutes & all scrimmages
Commitment to practices and tournaments.
• Travel – Montgomery, Jacksonville, Orlando, Atlanta, Birmingham, Nashville, etc.
• Qualifiers Only– Parents MUST Stay at Tournament-Authorized Hotel in team block.
• We want all our teams to play COMPETITIVELY!
Power • Tournaments: a USAV Qualifier, multiple
overnight events, and one day events. May add additional tournaments with additional costs.
• 2 coaches• 3 practices a week• Base Fee: $1700 • Uniform Costs for New Members Only

Club • Tournaments: Regional and Interregional
competitions, some overnights – 1 Qualifier Included in Base Fee – Additional Tournaments may be added for a fee

• Register/Renew USAV membership online with $90 USAV membership fee
• Complete hard copy of notarized USAV medical release form (may be uploaded Online in Tryout Info Form)
• Pay $35 tryout fee via link from Tryout Info Form
• Players will be notified via e-mail and asked to confirm selection.
• Teams will be posted on the web & Facebook
• Opportunities for development will be available for players not selected to a team.
• Training Academy - $500
Team Selection
• Quality vs Quantity
• HS 70%-30% vs Club 50%-50%• 10 Players – (11 Players max)
• Players will not be allowed to play for a
higher age group with very few exceptions
Tryout Criteria
Club Fees• $500 deposit due November 30th
• 1/2 Remaining Balance due December 14th
• Final Balance of Fees due in full by January 11th
• All Fees May Be Paid Online through link, which will be emailed to all selected players.
