HOLIDAY PROGRAMME PARENT INFORMATION SHEET

Welcome to YikesNelson Holiday Programme.

Please feel free to ask any questions and talk to us about any area we can work with your child to enhance their day(s) with us.

PROGRAMME OPERATION Our programme runs from 9am to 3pm Monday to Friday We provide morning and afternoon tea, children need to bring a packed lunch. ATTENDANCE Once your child is enrolled we expect him/her to be at the programme unless we have been notified by the parent/caregiver. If we have not been notified and your child does not arrive, we are obliged to do everything we can to find him/her. Non-attendance without prior warning will incur the same cost as if they had attended. Cancellations must be made at least 2 working days in advance, otherwise normal charges apply. This all ensures for a safe and professionally run environment, that you can feel confident in, with the care of your child. Casual Bookings At this stage we do not take on casual bookings. But if demand requires us too, we will review this policy. Transport We do not provide transport to the programme at this stage. Parents/Caregivers are expected to sign in their child to the programme unless otherwise arranged with the supervisor. Then the Supervisor will sign the child into the programme. STAFF Our minimum adult:child ratio is 1:10. All staff are police vetted If you have any issues or concerns please talk with the Co-Ordinator verbally or in writing. We have complaint forms available and all complaints are handled with respect and discretion. Our policy is to the best of our ability, to resolve all negatives positively. FEES Half Day sessions are $20.00 ; Full Day Sessions are $35.00 and Full Week Fee is $120.00. We are in the process of gaining CYFS approval which will enable parents to access WINZ subsidies. Until this process is completed we are happy to negotiate costs if you have more than one child attending. Fees must be paid weekly in advance, by internet banking, cheque (payable to YikesNelson) or by cash to Supervisor.
