I would like to see Shift events (outside of Sunday am) occur:

What are your thoughts on having a signin/out system for Shift?
No sign in/out needed at this age and it makes them feel like they are being "babied"
I do not want a sign out system. I think they are save as is and it is helpful.

I don't mind a sign in/out system but I consider it mostly unnecessary.
I am fine without sign in or sign out
I would rather not have a sign in/sign out. I think the kids like the independence and with
the sign out in kids church taking so long some Sundays, if you have more than one child
it could be complicated.
Works great!
Probably easier if we could just quickly pick up at shift room.
I don't think a sign in sheet is totally needed but can see for security/safety reason why it
might be needed. or even just for a weekend count purpose.
I'm good either way :)
no sign out. yes to the question of leaving before I get there.
I am happy NOT to have them signed in or out. This is the age where we need to give
them some responsibility within a safe environment.
Do you find the weekly Shift emails help your family?
We are looking at having a quarterly/semiannual parents' meeting for Shift.

I am fully satisfied with how the Shift program is running and helps mypreteen connect with others, grow with God, and serve at home.
What's one thing you think Shift does well?
How he handles all the different personalities. How he preaches well.
Make my kid feel like he is not the only preteen out there that believes in God. It builds
his believe and it is a save place to ask questions.
Teaches on relevant topics.
bring God to the preteens in a way that they can relate, as well as bringing/ building a
community for just them!
gives the kids great mentors and role models to look up to
Communication Relevant material Committed leaders who are great at connecting Social
events Summer programming (I realize I broke the rules!)
Connecting the preteens to each other and a community of other Christian children. My
daughter particularly likes the discussions and the challenge of a Bible verse to

Going out to have fun together.
The emails are useful and died with great questions.
What's one thing you think Shift could do better?
Nothing
The meetings are sometimes rowdy, I've been told. Also definitely more socials.
Create more time for kids to connect personally with other kids so they get to know them.
It would have yo be in small discussion groups likely which require volunteer facilitators.
nothingwe just need to be able to attend more events so our daughter can get more
involved.
Maybe a few more social events...

Any other comments:
thank you for caring for my preteen and supporting us
Jessie is such a blessing to those kids and I applaud him for all the hard work he puts into
each meeting.
We must do all we can to keep Jesse. He is doing an amazing job.
Great program thank you!
