Our tendency is to demand that someone do something to fix this situation. I’ve noted that we have become somewhat grumpy because we lack our normal certitude. Let’s not forget that we do have the certain hope and care of Christ. “When Jesus landed and saw a large crowd, he had compassion on them, because they were like sheep without a shepherd. So he began teaching them many things.” (Mark 6:34) We have confidence because we are not “sheep without a shepherd”. Our Jesus does have compassion on us and gives us His Peace. As followers of Christ, we have some duties, including that we continue being good stewards of God’s Blessings: “Above all, love each other deeply, because love covers over a multitude of sins. Offer hospitality to one another without grumbling. Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms. If anyone speaks, they should do so as one who speaks the very words of God. If anyone serves, they should do so with the strength God provides, so that in all things God may be praised through Jesus Christ. To him be the glory and the power for ever and ever. Amen.” (1 Peter 4) Let us be about Christ’s business, confidently caring for one another, sharing His grace, and being good stewards of the blessings He gives.

The mission of Trinity Christian School is to provide students with an academically excellent, Christ-centered education and to share the Gospel message of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. “Live Joy:Fully in Christ”

Feeling Anxious? We recognize that we’re all anxious about the changes we’ve experienced thus far with the pandemic, and fearful about what changes are coming. So he began teaching them many things.” (Mark 6:34)

We have confidence because we are not “sheep without a shepherd”.

Amen.” (1 Peter 4)

Let us be about Christ’s business, confidently caring for one another, sharing His grace, and being good stewards of the blessings He gives.

Planning 2020-2021 School Opening August 26 To perform good stewardship in preparing for the school’s opening, we’ve been discussing many options, and we’re trying to keep listening for ideas. We have not made concrete procedural decisions, but we have taken these steps: 1. Our Trustees have upgraded our air-filters that filter circulated air to filter out more bacteria, etc. 2. They have ordered 4 new “iWave-C-4900-10 Nu Calgon air purifiers (at a cost of $3,980) to be installed sometime this summer. While not having been tested on COVID, these purifiers kill SARS and related viruses. We won’t be able to say, with full certainty that the air being circulated will be virus free, but this system will go a long way to keeping staff and students safe. 3. We hope to install motion-activated water faucets and place sanitizing stations at the door of each classroom, along with 1-2 in the lunchroom, 1-2 in the gym, and 1 in each bathroom. 4. Teachers are arranging their classrooms to promote social distancing and provide for the safety of everyone in their rooms. Why are we planning ways to promote a healthy environment?

1. It's Christ's mandate to care about and for each other. 2. We have Immuno-compromised students and staff. 3. We have seen mistaken and mishandled protocols, so we are being

diligent in our deliberations, as we sincerely want the best stewardship of God's blessings, primarily all the people in our community.

What realities must we face?

1. We will care for our people who need care, especially those with compromised immune systems.

2. We will follow the legal mandates of our authorities. (Romans 13) 3. We will diligently look for ways to perform faithful stewardship.

School Opening August 26 We’ll begin our 2020-2021 School year Wednesday, August 26. Each class will have its own orientation, open house, and/or children’s visit before the classes resume. While we are praying for a smooth opening, we continue reviewing the latest updates for protecting our children, families, and vulnerable populations from viral infections. As we’ve experienced, we see things can change rapidly, so we will continue preparing for various scenarios. We will continue keeping our school community informed throughout the summer. That said, enjoy your summer and all God’s blessings.
