Music Connections, ranked in the top 1% of programs worldwide, offers this special eight week class of the world’s leading music and movement program, in a unique way. Village intentionally engages all the senses as we experience learning using multi-level activities that include singing & vocal play, creative movement, instrument exploration and rocking time, to the theme of being “on the go.” Seniors who love babies and music are invited to participate at whatever level they are most comfortable, from observer to dancer. Home materials reinforce learning goals and trigger memories of class. Register as parent with child, as grandparent with child, as a trio (parent/child/grandparent) or as an unrelated senior. Learn the basic skills of drawing to make your pictures jump right off the page. Draw just about anything you can think of using shading, shadowing, layering, depth and contours. Modern Olympic fencing draws on a long history of form and technique, while adding safety, fun and fitness. As physically demanding as tennis or racquetball, fencing is chess at 80 miles an hour, requiring quick thinking and trained reflexes. You will learn enough skills in attack and defense by the end of the class to participate in competitive bouts. Most equipment is provided; glove sizes may be limited, so you may want to bring a work glove with a cuff. Central Illinois Sport Fencing Instructor 4037 Sec.
