Questions, Queries and Other Communication:
Many thanks to those parents who were able to support the Year 7, Year 8, Year 10 and Year 11 Parent
Partnership Evenings this half term. At the Year 7 evening a query was raised….
Q. Can students have vivos deducted?
A. No.. Vivos are a positive reward and once given are not withdrawn.
Just a reminder about the students’ personal organiser: It does serve as a diary in which to record homework,
grades achieved, targets to be met and is a convenient tool for parents to communicate with staff. It does
also contain many useful subject specific information pages which students should be encouraged to refer to.
Please take a look..
Can we also remind you about taking holidays during term time. Although we no longer authorise holidays
please inform us if your child will not be in school via a telephone call to attendance or a note in your child’s
organiser. Attendance is monitored on a daily basis and phone calls home are made for any unexplained
absences. Many thanks.
