And there is also overlap between styles for a specific purpose and discipline. Here are some general rules of thumb for Parana Sports gloves: BAG MITTS: Sometimes called fitness gloves, bag mitts are designed for l ight use, like kickboxing aerobics classes and shadow boxing. They are also great for light bag work and are easy to put on. They do not have a padded thumb. Its available in Full & Half thumb designs. BAG GLOVES: Bag gloves come in a wide variety of construction and styles. They generally have more wrist support, some with touch-and-secure wrap-around closure. PARANA SPORTS bag gloves have a protected attached thumb and are made of high quality leather or vinyl. They are not suitable for sparring or competition but great for bag work. They can range in size from X-Small to XX-Large. TRAINING/SPARRING GLOVES: These gloves usually weigh 10 to 18 ounces. As the name implies, they are excellently suited for sparring. Training gloves are for l ight sparring, bag work , and also great for training with a coach. With proper use, they last long and provide good protection.
