thShravan Vadya Pratipada (25 August) is the Samadhi Din of the Revered Parampoojya
Sardeshmukh Maharaj . Every year, on this day a special pooja is conducted at the pious place of
Samadhi.
Dr. S. P. Sardeshmukh performed the pooja along with his wife Mrs. Sarita Sardeshmukh. After the
pooja, Prasad was given to everybody. This was followed by the ‘Mahaprasad’. The pooja was recited by
Sanskrit Pandit, Respected Mr. Vasantrao Gadgil along with his group of six Brahmins during which he
explained the meaning of each & every hymn.
Programme of “Bhajans” (Devotional songs) was also held on this occasion.
Disciples of Maharaj shared their memories of Maharaj. About 350 disciples attended the program.
The day ended with Mahaarati.
It was a great experience for everyone present there on this auspicious day.

Free Cancer Consultation Camp & Cancer Detection Camp in Female
Bharatiya Sanskriti Darshan Trust, Ayurved Hospital & Research
Centre, Wagholi, Pune's Integrated Cancer Treatment & Research
Centre has organized camp on 29/08/2010 on “Ayurved for Cancer”.
The camp was inaugurated by Hon. Chandrakant Dada Patil, MLA of
Kolhapur. In his inaugural speech, he expressed his all heartfelt wishes
towards cancer patients. He also said that he will be happy to establish a
branch of Integrated Cancer Treatment & Research Centre at Kolhapur.
This free camp on Ayurveda for cancer was held at Brahman Sabha
Karvir's Mangal Dham Hall, Kolhapur. Many people from Kolhapur
District were benefited by this free cancer consultation camp.
All patients were examined by Prof. Dr. S. P. Sardeshmukh, Director
- Integrated Cancer Treatment & Research Centre, Dr. Vijay Ramdasi,
Ophthalmologist & a team of assistant doctors.
Another feature of this camp was free breast cancer & cervical
cancer detection in females. As a part of cancer detection camp, PAP smear, FNAC, Biopsy were performed
at free of cost under the guidance of Dr. Dipak Ladda, Oncopathologist.In Females above 35 years, the
incidence of Breast Cancer is high. Thus a free breast check –up was
performed as a preventive measure & for early cancer detection by team
of Gynecologists of Ayurved Hospital & Research Centre.
52 cancer patients were benefited by this free Cancer consultation
camp. FNAC & PAP Smear tests were performed in 10 patients for
detection of Cancer.
Cancer patients who are benefited by Ayurvedic treatment of Cancer
Research Project mingled with new cancer patients & shared their
personal experiences. It proved to be a great moral boost to the patients
who attended.
“Cancer-Ayurved Exhibition “helped many patients, their relatives &
common people to understand cancer in better perspective. In this
exhibition, various charts were displayed giving scientific information
about Cancer like its causes, signs & symptoms, various investigations
to be done for diagnosis of cancer, Specific diet to be followed etc.
through Ayurvedic perspective.
Information about “Integrated Cancer Treatment & Research
Centre”,Wagholi, Pune was given to all by Audio-visual display. In this
centre, all cancer patients will be treated with Chemotherapy,
Radiotherapy, Surgery along with Ayurvedic treatment by experts of
respective fields under one roof at concessional rates.

Donation of AmbulanceAn ambulance was donated to Bharatiya Sanskriti
Darshan Trust’s Ayurved Hospital & Research Centre & th
Cancer Research Center on 10 July 2010 . It was declared at
the annual meeting of Lions Club Kirkee. Donation of
Ambulance was made possible with combined efforts of Lion's
club, Pune, Shivajinagar, Lions Club Kirkee, Lion Deepak Kudale, A. S. Kudale Pvt. Ltd., Vijaya Laxman
Kudale Foundation and with special efforts of Dr. Prabhu Jathar, Lecturer, Shalakya Department (ENT
Ophthalmology Dept.) of Ayurved College, Wagholi, The ambulance was donated in presence of Dr. U. V.
Tekawade, Principal Ayurved College, Wagholi.
Bharatiya Sanskriti Darshan Trust is grateful to the Donors of Ambulance for their valuable support for
upcoming Ayurved Hospital & Research centre in the rural area of Wagholi.

Donation of School BusKeshav Abaji English Medium School, Tadwal, Solapur is
run by Bharatiya Sanskriti Darshan Trust. About 180 students
are studying in this Primary School. The school is located at a
distance of 40 Km. from Solapur city.
For the purpose of transport convenience of students,

Spandan 2010Maharashtra University of Health Science, Nashik
organized a state level cultural youth festival at Latur between th rd
30 April 2010 to 3 May 2010. Ayurved College, Wagholi
participated in this program for 2nd time.

Kulkarni, Mr. Mithilesh Ahire, Ms. Pritam Darawade &
Mr. Anmol Borkar participated in various events like Classical Instrument, Solo dance, Group song, Classical
vocal, Quiz, Indian light vocal, Poster making, Rangoli, Poetry recitation & Elocution.st rd
Ms. Tejaswini Shinde won 1 prize in classical instrumental and Ms. Sampada Bende won 3 prize in
classical vocal solo. Dr. Anita Patil, Lecturer, Panchakarma Department, Bharatiya Sanskriti Darshan Trust’s
Ayurved College, Wagholi was the team manager for this event.
