Vertical Angles
Vertical angles are formed by the intersection of two lines and share a common vertex point. Vertical angles are congruent to one another.
Angles A & B are vertical angles.

Consecutive Interior Angles
Consecutive interior angles are on the same side of the parallel lines and the same side of the transversal. Consecutive interior angles are supplementary angles (their sum is 180 degrees.
