In the “open” position, it functions as an inviting chair for meetings, conferences,

classrooms, or wherever comfortable seating is needed; and in the “closed” position,

it is easily stored until future use. Steel hooks link the chairs together in perfect

alignment. Thanks to its easy handling and versatility, Papillon is the perfect seating

solution for a contemporary office.

s p e c I fI c at I o n sThe structure is made in various sizes of tubular steel. The seat closure is secured with

a hook and hinge system in 12 ga. thick steel. The padding is in self-extinguishing

polyurethane, cold-foamed without CFC, with an average density of 3.12 pcf. Armrests

come with arm support in either polypropylene, upholstery, or varnished solid beech.

The writing top is in black polypropylene; the anti-panic movement is in polished die-

cast aluminum. The short ganging clip is in 5 mm (approx. 3/16”) steel wire; the long

ganging clip is in 15 ga. thick black painted steel plate. The dual-wheel self-braking

casters are in reinforced nylon for soft floors or with polyurethane tread for hard floors.

The shaped fixed glides are in reinforced nylon; the suction cup glides are in rubber

with a galvanized steel pivot.
