The international expo was inaugurated by Metropolitan Archbishop His Grace the Most Rev. Dr. Joseph Kalathiparambil in the presence of Rev. Fr. Antony Arackal (Chairman, St. Albert's College), Prof. (Dr.) J. Latha (Vice Chancellor, CUSAT) and Sri. S. Sharma M.L.A. Inter school/collegiate/Technical Institution Exhibitions, Educational/Career Guidance stalls, Paper and Poster Presentations, Product Expo, various competitions etc were the highlights of the AIEE 2018. Thousands of students, parents, academicians and the general public visited the four day Expo to gain knowledge. His Grace the Most Rev. Dr. Joseph Kalathiparambil inaugurating AIEE 2018 International Knowledge Summit @ AIM I n connection with the Albertian International Educational Expo 2018, St. Albert's College organised International knowledge Summit from 8 th to 17 th of January 2018 to enrich the faculty members and the students on the contemporary developments in their respective areas of knowledge. The Albertian Institute of Management organised an International seminar on 'International Trade and Investment" on 16 th of January 2018. The resource persons for the seminar were Dr. Syed Ibrahim, Honorary Consul of the Federal Republic of Germany in Kerala and Mr. Amol Titus, CEO, IndonesiaWISE, Jakarta, Indonesia and President - India-Indonesia Chamber of Commerce. Dr. Syed Ibrahim, in his keynote address on the topic "Creating excellence through global outlook" stressed on the hard work the students have to put in to achieve excellence and on the need for quality to create excellence. He also suggested that Visit to Start-up Villages I EDC organised a visit to Start up villages in Kalamasserry and Kakkanad on 17 Jan, 2018. 8 office bearers accompanied by Prof. Rosalind Gonzaga, HOD, Commerce department participated in the visit Open House @ AIM A lbertian Institute of Management conducted an open house for Sem. 1 on 25 January, 2018. Dr. Geo Jos Fernandez, Dean, AIM welcomed the gathering. The open house served as a forum that enabled the parents to share their concerns and aspirations about their wards with the faculty members. Consulting Support for Entrepreneurs A lbertian Institute of Management and the management consulting firm BT, the consulting partners of RISE 2018 organised a workshop for selected entrepreneurs at AIM on 16 Jan 2018. The resource person for the session was Mr. Sajeev Nair, Chief Mentor of Bramma IT Solutions PLC and a serial entrepreneur. He discussed with the participants on developing a successful business-plan and on how to pitch their business proposals to investors. Paper presentation at Bharat Mata college M r. AIM as the consulting partner of RISE 2018‘RISE 2018' was a Mega Funding Summit organised

by St. Albert's College (Autonomous) on January20, 2018 in association with Newage Business Daily,prominent consulting firm BT and Albertian Instituteof Management with the support of Govt. of India'sStartup India program. The day-long event inauguratedby Dr. Christy Fernandez comprised of public pitching,closed door pitching, meet-ups, knowledge sharingsessions, information gathering, presentations,exhibition etc. Major focus was on networking platformfor the participant entrepreneurs with funding sourcesthrough various pitching initiatives. Individual Investors,Seed Funds, Angel Investors, Venture Capital funds,Banks, Non-Banking Finance Companies, Micro FinanceOrganizations etc participated in RISE 2018 along withvarious entrepreneurs.

Mr. AmolTitus, in his key note address on the topic "ASEAN IndiaTrade - Opportunities, Progress and Challenges", spokeabout the ASEAN region and about the progress madeby each country in ASEAN region. He also briefed aboutthe various opportunities India has in the ASEANregion and challenges Indians face today in trade. He

also suggested measures to overcome thesechallenges and what can done to capture the marketpotential. In the afternoon technical session, 20students of AIM participated in the paper presentationcompetition and presented their research work onvarious topics ranging from Social Media recruiting andTechniques to FRDI to Artificial Intelligence. Fr. JosephAntony, Ms. Lisha Joseph, Ms. Suhana S. S. and Ms.Rose Cindrella Padua of Semester IV MBA topped thecompetition and the second place was won by Ms.Meenu A. S., Ms. Naithika Rajeev, Ms. Joshna K. B.and Ms. K. V. Namitha of Semester II MBA.

AIM interacted with our students on 20 Jan 2018. Heshared his experiences and spoke on the practicalaspects of Human Resource Management. He

enlightened the students on how the various HRactivities are carried out at St. John's and emphasisedthe need for hard work to reach greater heights inlife. The session was an enriching experience for thestudents.

by C. S. Rajiv Krishna Warrier on 23 Jan, 2018. Mr.Rajiv is a qualified Company Secretary and anassociate member of the Institute of companySecretaries of India, New Delhi, with over 10 years ofindustry experience. In his session, he discussedabout the registration formalities, business feasibilitystudy and structuring, Company and LLP registration,taxation, trademarks, accounting and funding.
