Paper Machine ExplorationVirtual Reality TrainingWe offer a virtual reality (VR) training for a paper machine explo-ration. This course will explain where the main components of a paper machine are located and their main functionality.
VR will help participants understand and comprehend by observing and experiencing the complex paper machine and its components. The training will also give an impression of the
size of these complex machines, since the VR system will visualize it accordingly. This is as close as is technically possible to the real thing. However, it is noiseless and safe to explore the machine, so discussions in a group are possible.
Our VR experts will share their knowledge and experience in a classroom setting.

SafetyVirtual Reality TrainingA lack of safety awareness endangers employees and their col-leagues. Most conventional safety training cannot simulate real dangerous situations. To overcome this in a safe way, we offer a virtual training for increased safety awareness. Under the simulation, participants will face several dangers. There will be simple but fatal risks involved. The participants need to see, identify and report all possible safety risks in their journey
through the maintenance tasks. The final safety task will occur very abruptly, and it will be seen if the necessary action can be taken under high stress.
In virtual reality, it is possible for participants to experience fatal dangers without being subjected to actual risk. The participants can learn from their fatal mistakes.

NipcoFlex Sleeve ExchangeVirtual Reality TrainingExchanging a sleeve of a shoe press is a challenging task. If mistakes are made, material and staff could be endangered and additional shutdown time is needed to fix the issue. To improve knowledge, we offer a virtual training for exchanging a sleeve of a shoe press in a paper machine. The course will explain the main process steps and how they follow each other in a hands-on virtual world.
VR will also help to improve efficiency in understanding and comprehending by observing and experiencing complex pro-cesses on the paper machine. This is as close as is technically possible to the real thing.
Handling of high value items and faster knowledge transfer will lead to faster and safer maintenance for less downtime.

Screen Basket ExchangeVirtual Reality TrainingExchanging a basket of a screen on the paper machine or in the stock prep is a challenging task that could endanger mate-rial and personnel. The course will explain the main process steps and how they follow each other. It is possible to train every step of a reliable and fast exchange without damage to the basket or screen. The training will also give the correct size impression of the equipment since the VR system will visualize
it accordingly. This is as close as is technically possible to the real thing. When training on the optimized exchange process, it is also possible to teach the safe positions for interaction and tool usage.
VR is highly efficient and helps to understand and comprehend by looking and experiencing complex processes.
