THE HISTORY OF MALAGA CITY…

The Phoenicians in the eighth century founded the colony of Malaka,. Nebuchadnezzar II conquered Phoenicia and the Phoenicianstake refuge in their old

colony of Carthage.The Romans conquered the city in 218 b.c after Punic Wars by Aníbal Barca .One of the main buildings in Roman Empire were the theatre. In Malaga we have the Roman

theatre which was used for make actuations like dramas. The Byzantine emperor Justinian (527 DC.-565 AD) conquest, among other territories, Malaga. When the

Roman Empire started to fall down, gothic tribes invaded the peninsule and they established their kingdom in 419. So, visigoths entered and invaded the Roman

Empire. So Romans were in Malaga aproximetly 648 years.The Visigoth dominants in Malaga only lasted until 711 when the Muslims invaded the Iberian Peninsula from the South. In 711 visigoths and musulmins made a war where won the muslims in Guadalete War. So musulmins took place in Malaga. One of the

main buildings of musulmin were, the port and the mosque. Malaga was important due the influence of musulmins because the port was important when musulmins used

them to transport quality products as figs, almonds and raisins. This products were transported to far countries (Arabia). And the mosque was (and is) so important to

the musulmin culture because its forms part of their lifes.

JARDINES DE MÁLAGAUna mañana en el centro de Málaga

un grupo de alumnos se fue a La Alcazaba pero el nuestro son los Jardines de Málaga.

La Puerta oscura, bellos Jardines que a la vistacura.

Escarlata, amarillo y ocre pintaron la estampa otoñal: los colores más hermosos que había visto jamás.

En el centro de ese jardín había una fuente con agua pura y transparente, que vivificaba los deseos de la gente.

Entrada o entradilla: El curso de 2º de la E.S.O. del I.E.S. Fernando de los Ríos ha dedicado el día 18 de noviembre a darse

una vuelta a contemplar por el centro, la maravillaa realizadas por varios pueblos: los fenicios, los musulmanes y los romanos. Esta

exploración la hicieron para redactar lo aprendido en las asignaturas de Inglés, Francés, Lengua, Ciencias Naturales y

Ciencias Sociales. Para ello el grupo bilingüe tomó fotos y apuntó lo que María Lagos (guía-profesora) incluía las explicaciones de

historia y arqueología de Iñaki (profesor-C.Sociales.) Fueron en autobús público, número 16, situado a pocos metros del centro

escolar. Al salir del autobús, se encontraron con Lauren, en Jardines Pedro Luís Alonso, repleto de plantas, flores y árboles,

donde tomaron fotos a las plantas asignadas a cada grupo.

Cuerpo de la noticia: Iban pasando por el Ayuntamiento, el Teatro Cervantes y el Teatro Echegaray, entre otros muchos. Viendo los restos del Teatro Romano entraron en un centro de información donde pusieron un vídeo y entraron a estudiar más de cerca los restos del graderío del Teatro Romano. Todo terminó bien, con risas, sombreros y fotos...¡Muchas fotos!. Los de los sombreros

viene de un amable camarero de una crêppería. Repartieron a todo el grupo, sombreros al estilo campestre, con una cinta naranja que anunciaba el zumo Bifrutas. Hay una anécdota: Fueron presentes de un desfile de policías y bomberos. Exactamente no se sabía que pasaba. La imaginación se puso en función. Uno decian que eran un atraco; otros que se habían escapado unos locos del manicomio… Y

algunos, simplemente, no les daban importancia. ¡Se lo pasaron genial!

El día 18 de Noviembre el grupo bilingüe fuimos de excursión al centro con motivo de realización de un proyecto.

A las nueve menos cuarto fuimos a la parada del autobús 16, donde había mucha gente haciendo cola y solo unos pocos se pudieron sentar. Uno de ellos

fue un compañero. Una pobre mujer se sentó a su lado y no paro de hablar hasta que no termino el trayecto.

Nuestra primera nota fue el parque, donde buscamos las flores asignadas a cada grupo, pero la mitad no encontró ninguna. Después pasamos por la Puerta

Oscura y por el Ayuntamiento. A continuación nos paramos en la Alcazaba y nos echamos fotos, demasiadas fotos. María (la profesora) empezó a andar para

que la siguiéramos.Después nos fuimos a la plaza de la Merced y desayunamos. Inma y Ana se

compraron crêpes con chocolate. Donde un camarero nos regaló unos gorros para proporcionar Bifrutas, y por supuesto nos hicimos fotos.

Después fuimos a buscar más monumentos. En la plaza de la Constitución un payaso argentino repartía globos e Inma se compro una pantera rosa en

bicicleta. Cuando fuimos a la parada de autobús estaba menos lleno que por la mañana, pero algunos seguíamos de pie. De nuevo nuestro compañero se sentó

al lado de una joven y le siguió dando la lata. Como nos sobraba tiempo nos quedamos enfrente del Unicaja a pasar el rato

La paella, plato típico de la provincia de Valencia, ha pasado a ser quizás el plato más típico de la cocina española. Este plato, recibe su nombre del utensilio en que se elabora, pues paella es como se conoce en la zona a una especie de sartén ancha, sin rabo y con dos asas. Se puede decir que hay tantas clases de paellas como cocineros que la preparan; de verduras, de carne, de marisco, etc.Ingredientes para cuatro ó cinco personas:7 tacitas de las de café, de arroz; tres tomates rojos maduros; medio vaso de aceite de oliva; 6 cigalas; 3 dientes de ajos; medio conejo o medio pollo troceado; 150gr. de guisantes cocidos; 6 langostinos; sal; azafrán; 250gr. de almejas; 250gr. de mejillones; 150gr. de calmares cortados en rodajas.Preparación:1.-Poner una paella al fuego y echar el aceite. Cuando esté caliente, añadir tomates rallados y los ajos bien picados. Echar los trozos de carne.2.-Añadir entonces el arroz y mezclarlo todo bien con una cuchara de palo. Añadir los guisantes, los calamares. Volver a mezclar y añadir el agua (el doble que de arroz), echar la sal y el azafrán. Dejar a fuego fuerte durante cinco minutos.3.- Trascurriendo ese tiempo, bajar el fuego y mantener la cocción durante otros quince minutos.

4.-Cuando todavía tenga algo de caldo, añadir las almejas y los mejillones previamente cocidos y colocar las gambas y las cigalas encima adornándolo.5.-Dejar reposar durante unos cinco minutos y servir.

A QUI VA LA QUICHE LORRAINE DE GEMA

1 cup butter (at room temperature) 2 1/4 cups sifted flour 1 cup sugar 1 egg 1/2 teaspoon salt 2 teaspoons vanilla 1. Beat the butter and sugar in a bowl with the electric mixer for five minutes, until it becomes fluffy.2. Add the egg, the salt and the vanilla. Mix again.3. Add the flour and keep mixing until it becomes a stiff dough.4. Put the dough in plastic wrap and leave it in the fridge for two hours.5. Roll the dough on a floured surface and cut into different shapes using cookie cutters.6. Place the cookies on a baking tray and bake them at maximum temperature until they become brown on the edges, usually fifteen minutes.7. Wait until they are cold
