What made you decide to go: When I

left for college, I may not have

known my major, the clubs I would

join, or what friends I would make,

but I did know two things- that I

wanted to study abroad and that I

wanted to be an RA (…yes, I am

aware of how geeky I am lol)

Best Moment abroad:

Top three memories-

1) when Lily accidentally mocked

the airport official with her fake

Italian accent,

2) 2) enjoying delicious foods in

both Rome and Lyon with the

amazing Jordan Gomez, and

3) 3)Lily and I’s nightly run past the

Coliseum while listening to the

newest Glee songs.

Would you recommend studying

abroad? WITHOUT A DOUBT.

Are you excited to come home? I am

excited to have one last year to wrap

up my college experience before

moving back to Europe. Plus, I miss

my lil sis.

What did you learn from your adven-

ture abroad? To take life one step at

a time because there is only so much

you can control.

A message to Tri Delta : To be hon-

est, for the last three years I have

been extremely critical of the Greek

system. Before leaving to go abroad I

continuously sold the standard ex-

planation of why I love my chapter

and how the Greek community has

“changed my life for the better,”

blah blah blah. Everyone says it-but

how much is truth and how much is

simple repetition?

Sadly, it took me switching conti-

nents and throwing myself into a

completely different lifestyle to truly

appreciate the sisterhood I’ve always

heard (and talked) about- but at

least I found it. I now feel like one of

those die-hard girls you want to

punch during recruitment; Tri Delta

really has changed my life and I will

always share some of my fondest

memories with girls who I can

(cornily enough) call my sisters.

Senior Week: Leaving Behind a Legend

Diana Yu

Major: Criminology, Law and Soci-ety, Management Minor

Pledge Class: Beta Delta

After graduation: Working for 2-3 years then eventually going back to school

Favorite DDD Memories: Too many to name....just the overall love and support I have received from my sisters these past four years

Words of Wisdom: Get involve- what you put in is what you will get out.

Live in the house- it is a great way to become closer to your sisters and so much fun! Get to know everyone in the chapter- even if you are older, or younger, don't be scared to talk to people outside your pledge class or class level.

Final thoughts: I love Tri Delta and I am so sad to be leaving it. =(

Major: Social Ecology Pledge Class: Beta Delta

What are you doing after gradua-tion? Currently working as a Behav-ior Technician for children with Au-tism; hoping to one day to go back to school for a graduate degree. One of your favorite DDD memo-

ries: I have made so many amazing memories over the last four years

that it is too difficult to choose just one, but I can say that living in the house is an experience I will never

forget. Words of Wisdom? The college

years go by like the blink of an eye, so never pass on any opportunities

and live up every moment. Final Thoughts? My college experi-

ence would not have been the same without Delta Delta Delta. I am so grateful for all the amazing young women I have met and the timeless memories I have made. I wish the best of luck to all my fel-

low graduating sisters; Congratula-tions Class of 2010!

After Graduation: Internship and traveling before grad school in fall 2011.

DDD memories: Crush party this winter - amazing!!!

Wisdom: Get to know all your sis-ters. There is a reason that all of us were picked to be Tri Deltas, and give your sisters a chance. These girls will become your closest friends, and you don't want to find that out the last few months of senior year. Get to know your sisters early on and

have a blast with them ALL of your years!

What are you doing

after graduation?

SPOP, LSAT Class

and finding a grown

up job (let me know if you of anyone

hiring).

One of your favorite DDD memories:

I don't know which one to choose.

Every moment I've had with my sis-

ters have always been my favorite.

Words of Wisdom? Don't forget Tri

Delta's purpose! It's lengthy and diffi-

cult to remember, but it's what a lot

of women aim for when they go to

college (a stronger more womanly

character not, democratic leadership

abilities, healthy friendships and a

broader and more intellectual and

moral life). We are on this campus

and top house for a reason and I

truly believe that it's because every-

thing we do is a reflection of our pur-

pose.

Final Thoughts? Try your best to

love everything and everyone to the

best of your ability. You may not be

able to fully understand someone or

something or walk in a persons

shoes, but the effort you put forth to

get to know someone and love them

with all your heart makes a huge

difference. Love is something you've

known since always, in your dreams.

What are you doing after graduation? Working in Culver City at an art

gallery. Assistant to an art con-sultant and keeping showroom organized.

One of your favorite DDD memories: My favorite DDD memory was my first retreat in Palm Springs during fireside. It was a time when the chap-ter became very close and I felt like I really got to know my sisters. Per-sonal thoughts were shared and feel-ing safe to share anything is some-thing I cherish.

Words of Wisdom? I hope the rest of the girls make the most of their years at UCI. Time flies and making lasting memories are the best things to take

away from the college experience.

Final Thoughts? I am glad to have been apart of this chapter and grate-ful to have made many lifelong friends.
