Specific Systems• The most common legal systems are code law,
Anglo-American common law, and Islamic law.
• Code Law comes out of the French legal tradition (1806). It was followed in Western continental Europe.
• Anglo-American Common Law is common law grew out of common practices of courts of king of England, describing something involving the UK and US.

Communication and Legal Message
• Legal and legal interpretations are influenced by culture. What is considered legal in one country therefore may be illegal in another. In the United State, discrimination is illegal. – Legal system come out of cultural values.– Laws are formulated, communicated and enforced
