idea in 1912. He called it “Continental Drift”.
He believed that all the continents were connected 200 Million years ago.
He named this Super-Continent Pangaea which means “All Land”.

1. Puzzle-like fit: Many of the continents will fit like a puzzle if put together.
2. Fossil Clues: Fossils of the same plants and animals (Mesosaurus) (Glossopteris) were found on different continents separated by thousands of miles of water.
3. Rock Clues: The exact type of rocks were found on the borders of different continents.
4. Climate Clues: Glaciers and glacial deposits.
