    Panel Inzicht (insight) is a young fieldwork organization specialized in online quantitative research.

    Our office is located in Ermelo, right next to the A28 highway. We arose from a market research company

    and have the biggest panel of the Netherlands.

    We also have panels in Belgium and France. The combination of our big panels and our statistical knowledge

    make us a unique player in the market. Moreover, our technical know-how ensures that everything in this

    area goes smoothly and quickly as well. Combine this with a 100% variable cost and competitive rates, and

    Panel Inzicht Introduction

    Vision

    The online fieldwork (sample-only) market is

    characterized by competitive price negotiations, short

    lead times and is dominated by a few big, national players

    and some international players. In this fast business,

    one must keep an eye on the quality of the research.

    Fast is fine, but not if this is at the expense of quality. A

    questionnaire should be good, translations should be

    correct,

    but other aspects such as the invitation text and the

    reward system are also important. Panel Inzicht combines

    a large panel size and a fast way of doing business with

    a critical view of the research trajectory. In short, if you

    hire us, you wont do business with a fieldwork supplier;

    you will have a partner with whom you will turn your

    research into a success.

    Process approach

    We believe that fast decision making is very important. The fieldwork period is often limited or has even already

    started. In this case, one has to be able to work fast. We usually answer emails within one hour. This goes for price

    requests as well as email contact before, during or after the fieldwork.

    Sample-only orders have a fixed trajectory:

    1. A CPI based on an RFQ is given

    2. After approval of the CPI we assign a Project Manager (PM)

    3. The PM takes care of the timely (soft) launch and is your contact person during the fieldwork

    4. After achieving the quota, the final amounts plus the costs are determined

    5. Invoicing takes place within one week after achieving the quota

    6. The client sends the status file within 5 work days after the termination of the fieldwork

    Analyses

    In addition to sample-only and possibly scripting and

    hosting, we can also be of service to you in the field

    of statistics. As researchers we can help you with data

    preparation, data normalization, as well as with the

    analyses of the figures. This can vary from generating some

    cross-tables to the use of advanced statistical techniques

    and everything in between. Our people are university

    graduates in research methodology, which means they are

    fully capable in the field of statistical analyses. Examples of

    techniques that we have experience with, are: regression

    analysis, (M)ANOVA, conjoint analysis, Structural Equation

    Modeling (SEM), factor analysis, cluster analysis and other

    widely used techniques.

    Sample-onlyThe Panel Inzicht panel gives you access to a very varied and diverse group of people who would like to complete

    your questionnaire. As we have quite a lot of information about our panel members, we are able to target (very)

    specific groups, leading to excellent response. If you choose sample-only, you take care of scripting and hosting

    the questionnaire yourself.

    Scripting and hosting questionnairesAs an addition to or separately of the sample-only, we can translate your questionnaire to an internet questionnaire.

    In order to do this, we possess advanced software that allows us to script complex questionnaires, as well as give

    it your personal look & feel.

    Statistical analysesAfter the data collection we can still be of service to you. With our statistical knowledge, we are able

    to contribute ideas about matters such as representativeness and weights prior to the

    fieldwork, but you may also decide to let us do the analyses afterwards.

    History of the Panel

    Panel Inzichts panel started in 2000 when three smaller

    panels were combined, resulting in a flying start. As one

    of the first (large scale) panels in the Netherlands, the

    panel soon surpassed the amount of 100,000 members.

    This growth was, and is, mainly accomplished by the tell

    a friend principle, but also by means of targeted banners,

    email campaigning, text links and a network of carefully

    selected (media) partners.

    Of course, we work with double opt-in. We used the same

    approach in Belgium and France. In order to guard the

    panels diversity, we actively recruit specific groups (such

    as the elderly). In this way, we are able to take care of the

    most diverse, specific research requests.

    The combination of a lot of background information about

    our panel members and the large size of our panels make

    us an interesting partner in online fieldwork.

    Panel Figures

    Panel Inzicht has panels in the Netherlands, Belgium and

    France. We started in the Netherlands, and then expanded

    to the south: Flanders. A few years ago we also added France

    and Wallonia. The Dutch panel has over 114,450 members

    (Q4 2013). In Belgium, over 37,664 people are member of

    the panel, and the French panel has over 100,917 members

    (Q4 2013).

    Sample-only

    If you choose sample-only, you take care of scripting and

    hosting your questionnaire. It is then our job to p rovide you

    with the response to your questionnaire. In many cases, we

    can target specific groups of panel members, based on

    their profile information, which results in a high response

    rate. You can send us a price request at rfq@panelinzicht.

    nl. RFQ stands for Request For Quota. You can also use our

    online price calculator to get a price indication. We always

    work with a variable price model; we dont charge start-up

    costs. This way you know exactly where you stand. We may,

    however, demand a minimum order amount for smaller

    orders. You can also calculate the required sample size

    on our website. Then you will be sure that the results will

    actually be representative of the population about which

    you wish to draw conclusions.

    Scripting and hosting

    Before we can send your questionnaire to our panel

    members, the questionnaire needs to be located

    somewhere on the internet. It needs to be translated

    from a (Word) document to the web, something we call

    scripting. In the case of sample-only, you take care of this

    process yourself. You may also, however, choose to let us

    take care of it. After scripting the questionnaire, we host it

    on the web. As of that moment, it is possible to send the

    questionnaires. We have several solutions for the scripting

    process, varying from simple (low costs, less possibilities)

    to advanced (higher costs, but a lot more possibilities).

    Depending on the complexity of the questionnaires

    (and routing), and your additional wishes, we choose the

    appropriate package. We work with Jambo, LimeSurvey

    and self-written software.

    Maintaining Quality

    As researchers we know how important the quality of the

    response is for the research. We do everything possible to

    guard the quality of the response (and the members), in

    several ways. All subscriptions go through a double opt-in process. We also keep a blacklist of members that are

    disqualified for future research, for whatever reason. They

    may have filled in earlier surveys either without taking it

    seriously (straight liners) or too quickly (speeders). We also

    check for data consistency: someone who first claims to be

    a woman, but later claims to be a man, is excluded.

    Furthermore, we make use of deduplication based on IP

    addresses and cookies. During their membership, our panel

    members complement their profile information, which is

    a good indication of the members quality. Panel Inzichtspanels are ISO 26362 certified late 2013. All these activities

    ensure the best possible response quality!

    Subscription

    You can subscribe to Panel Inzichts panel on our website

    www.panelinzicht.nl. When you subscribe to our panel,

    you will be redirected to a separate login page. If you enter

    your details, you will receive an email through which youcan confirm your registration. You will then be able to

    participate in Panel Inzichts surveys. You will receive an

    invitation to a survey approximately once a month, as well

    as requests to complete your profile so we can invite you to

    researches for which you qualify.

    By participating in surveys, you save points that are

    exchangeable for money. You also gain access to our portal,

    so you can get a discount on purchases at popular websites.

    If you wish to unsubscribe, you can do so on the website, orby clicking on the unsubscription link at the bottom of each

    email you receive.

    Specialty Panels

    Due to the size of our panels, we have been able to build specialty panels in the last few years. These include a holiday

    panel, a media panel and above all the biggest business panel. We call this our professionpanel, with possible preselection

    based on, for example, company size (FTE, ), department, job level, decision-making power and sector. We also know if

    our members are ZZPers (persons that form independent companies without employees). In other words: Panel Inzicht

    can carry out your most specific requests.

    In this way, we stimulate members to subscribe other

    people to our panel. The largest share of our panels

    growth is attributable to this principle. We regularly recruit

    actively for difficult groups such as the elderly and ethnical

    minorities.

    Recruitment

    We recruit our panels members in several ways.

    Subscription always goes through a double opt-in process.

    We recruit by means of text links, targeted banners, email

    campaigning and a network of carefully selected (media)

    partners. The tell a friend principle also plays a major role.

    Privacy

    We see our members privacy as a high priority. Our

    members form our panel, and without our panel we

    cannot be successful in this market. It is for this reason that

    we follow a strict privacy policy. All (profile) information of

    our members is strictly confidential and is never disclosed

    to third parties without their express written consent. It is

    not possible to enrich a dataset afterwards with so-called

    sociodemographic variables such as income, sex and age.

    All these questions must be included in the questionnaire,

    so that members can decide whether or not they wish to

    disclose this information.

    Representativeness

    In order to be, and to remain, an interesting partner in

    online fieldwork, representativeness is a precondition.

    Many researches require representativeness regarding sex,

    age, region, income and level of education. Naturally, we

    understand this, and we are able to deliver representative

    samples. Of course this does not only apply to, for example,

    a representative sample of the Netherlands, but also to

    smaller, more specific requests. However, the smaller and

    the more specific the request is (RFQ), the more difficult it

    becomes to guarantee representativeness.

    Price structure

    Panel Inzichts rates for online fieldwork are structured in

    a clear, transparent way. Contact us at rfq@panelinzicht.

    Quota). You can also use our online price calculator. Three

    variables determine the cost per completed questionnaire.

    Every RFQ can be expressed in a certain target group: the

    required Number of interviews (N),

    the percentage (within the target group) that meets the

    determined criteria (IR, Incidence Rate) and the Length of

    the Interview (LOI). The output of an RFQ, based on N, IR

    and LOI, is always the CPI (Cost Per Interview). We charge

    Technique (IT)

    The technical coordination before, during, and sometimes after a research process is very important for its

    successfulness. One often has to deal with several redirects, parameters and variables that need to be enclosed,

    forwarded and captured correctly. In this context, 95% of surveys work with dynamic links, but our system can also

    handle static links. Because of our thorough technical knowledge in this area, here too we can be a good partner,

    providing you with advice when you need it. We have recently automated our reward system, which is a good

    indication of our progressiveness in this area.
