Installation or Activation problems?

Important Notes
IMPORTANT – Connecting OTG USB to Devices
When using the USB stick to connect to your computer, smartphone and other devices please take
care to align the interfaces correctly. We recommend removing the OTG USB from devices when
not in use to minimize the risk of damage to either.
IMPORTANT - Uninstall Existing Antivirus!
IMPORTANT! You may have to uninstall any existing antivirus programs from your computer
before installing this Panda program. You can do this through the Programs section of the Control
Panel.
Existing antivirus programs could include those from: AVG, F-Secure, Kaspersky, McAfee, Norton.
How To Uninstall (Windows)
In order to uninstall any existing antivirus please follow instructions provided by your antivirus
vendor or use the following guidance.
Windows 10 Users
1. Click Start.
2. Find the [Existing antivirus product] you want to uninstall and right-click.
3. Select Uninstall from the context menu, and follow on-screen prompts.
Windows 8 Users
1. In the Start screen, type Programs and Features (Or click Settings in the Charms Bar).
2. Click Programs and Features.
3. Select [Existing antivirus product], Click Uninstall / Change and follow on-screen prompts.
Windows 7 & Vista users
1. Click Start, then click Control Panel
2. Click Programs – Uninstall a program
3. Select [Existing antivirus product], Click Uninstall and follow on-screen prompts.
Windows XP users
1. Click Start, Settings, Control Panel.
2. Double-click Add or Remove Programs.
3. Select [Existing antivirus product], Click Remove and follow on-screen prompts.

How do I install . . .
. . . Panda Internet Security 2016 on my Windows PC?
IMPORTANT! You may have to uninstall any existing antivirus programs from your computer
before installing this Panda program. You can do this through the Programs section of the Control
Panel.
The installation of Panda 2016 is very user-friendly, just follow the steps below:
1. Insert the USB stick into your computer
2. Open the USB folder
3. Double-click the Panda Install.exe on the USB stick
4. Select Language and click Next
5. Click ACCEPT and INSTALL, then wait while the product installs
6. Enter your Activation Code carefully. Type your activation code printed on the card insert
which came with your product exactly as it appears (alphanumeric characters then a
hyphen then numbers, with no spaces)
7. You should see a message that confirms Activation successful!
8. Click Close to continue, then click OK to restart the console with the product fully installed
and activated
NOTE: Keep the Internet Security 2016 card in a safe place for future reference.

Panda Internet Security 2016 features a full protection module for Android™ mobile devices that you can
download and install whenever you need, up until the license of your Panda Internet Security 2016 expires.
Note: Install methods and images may vary depending on your Android™ device.
You can access the installation file for Panda Mobile Security for Android™ using one of the methods below:
1. Directly Through The Google Play Store
1. Visit the Google Play page http://go.pandasecurity.com/mobile-security/ where you can
download and install Panda Mobile Security (aka Free Antivirus and Security). Simply click
Install. Go to the Installing Panda Mobile Security Section below
The Panda Mobile Security page can also be reached by scanning this QR code on your
mobile phone (suitable QR scanning software may be required):

2. Directly from your OTG USB stick
1. Insert the OTG USB stick carefully into your Android™ device.
2. The USB storage option may appear automatically, if not then access through the file
browser of your device
3. Select the USB Storage Option then run file PandaAv.apk
4. Your device may ask you to allow installation of Applications from Unknown Sources, this
must be enabled to continue the install.
Note: If you are unsure about allowing this process then the installation method through your
Panda MyAccount below does not require this authorisation.
