PANAMA

WHERE IS PANAMA LOCATED? Panama is located in Central America,

bordered by Costa Rica.

THE MAIN RELIGION AND ETHNIC GROUPS. The main religion is Christianity. Of this group three quarters are catholic.

The main ethnic groups are mestizo, mulatto, and white.

LANGUAGE AND FOOD! The main

language the speak is Spanish.

Some of there favorite foods are pollo(chicken) ceviche(raw lemon juice and cilantro)camprons(shrimp)

GOVERNMENT AND ECONOMY!! There type of

government is a constitutional democracy. It also is a limited government.

There economy is very strong, it is one of the fastest growing economies. There imports are consumer goods and chemicals and there exports are bananas, shrimp, sugar, coffee, and clothing.

CAREERS AND CLOTHING!!! They have

teaching and education jobs, they also several jobs that have to do with travel and tourism and they have professional scuba divers, bar tenders, and hotel workers.

There shirts have ornaments, and on the shoulders they have ruffles and lace. They also have the panama hat which is made from palm straws. All of there clothes are very colorful.

WHAT THEY HAVE TO OFFER AND ARE THEY INDUSTRIALIZED. Panama has to

offer colonial architecture and the most favorable and flexible incorporation laws.

Panama is industrialized but it has been uneven for awhile.

THE RELATIONSHIP, FEATURES AND LANDFORMS. The relationship

with us is the connected, operation, and future of the canal.

Some of the main features are the Chagres River, Tortuous River, Tuira River, and the Sixaola River. One of the major landforms is the panama canal.

SOME EXTRA FACTS!!! The earliest known inhabitant of

panama were the Cuevas and Coclé tribes.

They are very rich in folklore and popular traditions.
