The deployment of Shri Rodrigues in Goa Housing Board, Porvorim, Bardez-Goais on deputation (on foreign service) basis as per the standard terms and conditions of deputation issued by Government vide O. M. No. 13/4/74-PER dated 12-2-1999 for a period of one year in the first instance.

(7) Conveyance Allowance:

That, with effect from 1-11-2000, each worker ought to be paid a. conveyance allowance at the rate as given below:-

(A) Grade - A = Rs. 900/­(B) Grade - B = Rs. 800/­(C) Grade - C = Rs. 700/-

(8) Leave-facilities:

That the workers be eligible to the following' Leave-facilities.

(a) Privilege Leave: 30 days per annum with facility to accumulate upto 100 days.

Whereas it appears to the Government of Goa (hereinafter referred to a!3 "the Government") that the land specified in the Schedule hereto (hereinafter referred to as the "said land") is likely to be needed for public purpose viz. for construction of road from Taleigao Church to T&leigao Market in Tiswadi Taluka.

Now, therefore, the Government hereby notifies, under sub-section (1) of section 4.,of the Land Acquisition Act, 1894 (Central Adt 10f 1894) (hereinafter referred to as the "said Act") that the said land is likely to be needed for the purpose specified above.

Whereas by Government Notification No. 22/38/2001--RD dated 25-7-2001 published on pages 306 to 307 of Series II, No. 18 of the Official Gazette, dated 2-8-2001 and in two newspapers (1) Gomantak Times dated 2-8-2001 (2) Gomantak dated 4-8-2001 it was notified under section 4 of the Land Acquisition Act, 1894 (Central Act 1 of 1894) (hereinafter referred to as "the said Act") that the land specified in the Schedule appended to the said Notification was likely to be needed for the public purpose viz. Land Acquisition for construction of Government High School Building at Gonval, Cola in Canacona Taluka.

And whereas, the Government of Goa (hereinafter referred to as "the Government") after considering the report made under SUb-section (2) of section 5A of the said Act is satisfied that the land specified in the Schedule hereto is needed for the public purpose· specified above (hereinafter referred to "the said land").

Now, therefore, the Government hereby declares, under section 6 of the said Act that the said land is required for the public purpose specified above.

2. The Government also hereby appoints, under clause (c) of section 3 of the said Act, the Deputy Collector/S.D.O., Quepem to perform the functions of a Collector for all proceedings hereinafter to be taken in respect of the said land, and directs him under section 7 of the said Act to take order for the acquisition of the said land.

3. A plan of the said land can be inspected at the Office of the said Deputy Collector/S.D.O., Quepem till the award is made under section 11.

Read:c Government Notification No. 22/44/2001-RD dated 6th September, 2001 published in the Official Gazette, Series II, No. 25 dated 28th September, 2001 and in two local dailies viz. (1) Herald dated 13-9-2001 and (2) Pudhari dated 14-9-2001 regarding Land Acquisition for setting up of Industrial Estate Project at Navelim in Bicholim Taluka.

In the schedule appended to the Notification cited above, in column 3, the area against survey No. 109/15 shall be read as 925 sq. metres instead of 525 sq. metres and area against survey No. 112/7 shall be read as 1125 sq. metres instead of 425 sq. metres.

The total area notified shall be read as 2,14,825 sq. metres instead of 2,13,725 sq. metres.

All other contents of the Notification shall remain the same.

The Government is pleased to constitute, with immediate effect, a Monitoring Committee for North Goa District, to monitor and regulate the implementation of the provisions of the above cited Notification, which imposes a ban on all 'non-biodegradable/plastic' bags of less than 40 J.1 thickness. The membership of the said Committee shall be as follows:

1. Collector (North) Chairman

2. Director/Representative of Department Member of Science, Technology & Environment

3. Director/Representative of Directorate Member of Municipal Administration

4. Director/Representative of Directorate Member of Panchayat

5. Commissioner/Representative of Member Directorare of Excise

6. Superintendent of Police (North) Member

7. Chief Officer, Panaji Municipal Member Council

8. Chief Officer, Mapusa Municipal Member Council

9. President/Representative, Goa Small Member Industries Association (GSIA)
