Four (4) Palm Beach County operated parking facilities are available for public use. These parking facilities are conveniently located near the Judicial and Government Offices.

3. Governmental Center - Lot 4 316 4th St., West Palm Beach, FL

4. State Attorney/Public Defender Lot, 421 3rd St., West Palm Beach, FL

PARKING FOR GOVERNMENTAL CENTER COMPLEX 301 NORTH OLIVE AVE. WEST PALM BEACH, FL 33401

Palm Beach County provides metered public parking in two locations for the Governmental

Center and Historic Courthouse. The parking rate for the Governmental Center Garage and

Parking Lot 4 is $1.00 (One Dollar) per half hour or any portion thereof and must be paid for at

the parking meters when parking is first obtained, NOT after you’ve returned from your

destination. Parking meters will accept coins, $1, $5, $10 bills as well as MasterCard and Visa.

The Sheriff’s Office issues a parking citation for unpaid or expired meters. The fine is $30.00.

1. Governmental Center Parking Garage is adjacent to the South side of the Governmental

Center Complex. This parking garage can be entered from both Dixie Hwy. and Olive

Avenue.

Public metered parking is available 6:00 a.m. until midnight on the first parking level of

this garage.

Disabled parking is also available in this area for no charge when a valid disabled

permit/placard is displayed in the vehicle and the person to whom it was issued is

present. The disabled parking section is available only until 7:00 p.m.

Park your vehicle, pay meter, place receipt on your vehicles’ dash and exit the garage

using the elevator, stairwell or pedestrian ramp.

2. Parking Lot 4 is an open (uncovered) metered parking lot and is available for public

parking to the North side of the Governmental Center Complex from 6:00 a.m. until

midnight. This lot is entered from 4th Street near the corner of Olive Avenue.

Disabled parking is also available in this area for no charge when a valid disabled

permit/placard is displayed in the vehicle and the person to whom it was issued is

present. Persons parking in this lot should access the Governmental Center Building

from the West side courtyard. The Olive Avenue East side entrance to Governmental

Center is closed.

3. On Street metered parking is available and provided by the City of West Palm Beach on

both the North and East sides of the Governmental Center Complex. There are no

designated disabled on-street parking spaces in this area.

Palm Beach County provides public parking in three locations for these buildings.

1. The Judicial Center Parking Garage (505 Banyan Blvd) is located directly West of the

Courthouse. Visitors may enter this garage from Banyan Blvd or Rosemary Ave. A

pedestrian bridge from the garage to the Courthouse is located on and accessed from

the 4th level of the Judicial Center Parking Garage.

The parking rate for this location is $1.00 (One Dollar) per half hour or any portion

thereof. Parking fees are paid at the parking attendant booths upon exiting the facility.

This facility accepts CASH ONLY for payment of parking fees. No Checks or Credit/Debit

cards are accepted for payment.

Free parking is provided for jurors who park at the Judicial Center Parking Garage and

present their juror summons or I.D. badge upon exiting.

Disabled parking is provided on the first level of the Parking Garage as well as the

Eastern most section of the surface lot.

2. State Attorney/Public Defender Disabled Only parking is available on 3rd Street behind

the SA/PD building (Enter from 3rd Street). Parking is free to the general public with

a disabled placard providing that the person to whom it was issued is present.

3. On Street metered parking is available and provided by the City of West Palm Beach on

the West side of the Courthouse on both sides of Quadrille Avenue as well as 4th Street

between Dixie Hwy. and Quadrille Avenue. There is a limited number of disabled

on-street parking spaces (2) at this location.
