The benefits of leadership, humility and courage would stay with himfor a lifetime, being integral to Scout Oathand Laws. Scouting helped him to mold hischaracter, to form friendships, to provide aworthwhile outlet for the natural energieshe had as a growing boy, and to be trainedas a good citizen. He feels that he was ableto successfully navigate his personal andprofessional life due to the values andcharacter he developed and learned as aBoy Scout. He is the man today due toscouting experiences, having served hiscountry as a responsible respected civil
