Year three focuses on developing practical skills for working with groups, with an emphasis on adult learning, facilitation skills, group process, working with Bible-study resources, and leadership training. about the professors

Old TestamentDaniel Smith-Christopher earned his doctorate in scrip-ture at Oxford University and has taught Old Testament at Loyola Marymount University since 1989. He is author of dozens of scholarly articles and nine major books.

New TestamentFelix Just, S.J., Ph.D., is the Director of Biblical Educa-tion at the Loyola Institute for Spirituality in Orange, CA. He received an S.T.L. in Scripture from the Jesuit School of Theology at Berkeley and a Ph.D. in New Tes-tament Studies from Yale University.

Catholic Bible Institutegeneral information Courses will meet Saturdays from 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Pastoral Center of the Diocese of San Bernardino, 1201 E. Highland Ave., San Bernardino or Christ the Redeemer, 12745 Oriole Ave., Grand Terrace.

The program runs Fall, 2010 through Spring, 2013 during a total of 5 semesters. Tuition is $195 per semester. Tuition assistance is available to qualified applicants.
