So you’re off and running with making money by taking surveys online, good for you! The problem, as you are probably already discovering, is that a lot of what you do is tedious and repetitious, especially sign ups to get ready to take surveys.

Wouldn’t it be great if there was a way to speed through all the repetitious stuff and just get to the survey part? After all, that’s the part that pays you, so the faster you can get to it, the more money you can make.

As it turns out, there is a way! There is some really great software on the web, absolutely free to download and use, that can help you take more surveys more quickly than you ever thought possible.

Not only will you be able to basically “automate” filling out the surveys for you, this software will also remember all of your online passwords automatically for you, in a 100% secure way so that you never have to type a password to log onto any of these survey sites again, or worry about remembering what they are.

In the pages that follow, we’ll show you live examples of three different programs you can install right now, and show you how you can use them.

About RoboFormThe first thing you should know is that RoboForm comes in two versions. Free and paid. The paid version isn’t hugely expensive, but as you read through this review to see all that the program can do, I think you will understand why we included it, and why we mentioned it first.

In many ways, RoboForm is the industry standard. It is simply the best in class, and outstanding at what it does. It is true that you can find free, unrestricted software that handles all the tasks that RoboForm does, but you would have to install a number of programs and juggle between them to do everything. The great thing about this program is that it puts everything in one place. Consider it one stop shopping for online efficiency!

The first feature worth talking about where RoboForm is concerned is the password feature. Rather than having to remember several different passwords, all you have to do is remember one. Your Master Password. RoboForm remembers the rest for you, and what could be better than that?

The second feature that survey takers will find especially compelling is the form filler. You fill out a form in RoboForm once, and then simply click your RoboForm Identity, and the software fills in the form for you.

The time saved is enormous, because let’s face it, taking paid surveys is a volume business. The faster you can finish one and move onto the next, the more money in your pocket!

There are several other minor features that are worth a mention, but of these, the biggest is the fact that on installation, you can choose to save data to your main PC, or you can create an online account.

The great thing about creating an online account is that you can use RoboForm on every device you’ve got, and from anywhere.

If you can get an internet signal, you can use RoboForm. That means you don’t have to take your laptop with you if you want to have a “working vacation.” Just bring your tablet or smartphone, and you can access everything you need to take fast, efficient surveys. In addition to this though, some of the other features you’ll definitely want to check out and explore are the software’s SafeNotes, Smart Cards, and its secure password generator.

Some people might complain that having all of these features crammed into a single software solution makes it a bit overwhelming, and if the program has one negative against it, is that it can be a bit overwhelming at first, and comes with a bit of a learning curve.

That said, you don’t have to dive into every feature right off the bat. Just use the basics to start and over time, begin exploring the other features you thin might be valuable to you.

And now that we’ve explained what it is and what it does, let’s show you!

The first thing we want to show you is this screenshot.

You’ll see this when you’re first installing the program. It’s going to ask you whether you want to set it up for your local PC only, or for everywhere. We recommend using the “Everywhere” option because that way it’s more flexible and versatile, but each person is different, so use your own judgment here, based on how you plan to use the software.

The next thing to show you is the screenshot where the software prompts you for your Master Password. Again, once you’re up and running, this is the only password you will need to remember.

Once you’ve created your account, the very next thing you will want to do is create an “Identity.” Basically, this is just a form where you will put all your personal information. Name, address, email, cell phone number – basically all the stuff that you’re going to be asked to fill in when you have to complete the sign up and registration forms on all the survey sites you need to join in order to make money.

And here is RoboForm in action! With one click of a button, I filled this entire form out. Now I can get to making some money. No time wasted!

It doesn’t matter how long or short the site registration forms are, either. RoboForm uses “smart technology” to figure out which boxes need what information and will pick and choose from the info you filled out in your Identity. Here, I’ve switched over to a different survey site with a much shorter registration form and as you can see, RoboForm knows exactly what to do!

About Password SafeThe first thing you should know about Password Safe is that it is free, and comes with no restrictions at all. Free is good, but as with most totally free things, there are at least a couple of drawbacks. Still, if you are on a budget, then this one will certainly get the job done.

It isn’t as full featured as the other two on our list, but then, the other two are trying to “hook you” into buying their premium versions. This one’s pretty basic, without a lot of bells and whistles, but it will serve you well and keep you from having to remember tons of passwords for all the different survey sites you are signed up for, and that’s what you’re really after.

You will have to do more “manual labor” with Password Safe. Unlike RoboForm, it won’t just automatically grab and remember your user id’s and passwords from websites you visit. You actually have to create a manual “key” in the program for each site and password you want it to remember.

Installation is a snap, and just like with RoboForm, when you first set things up, you establish a Master Password to the Password Safe database, and once the rest is set up, Password Safe will remember everything else for you.

One very nice feature about Password Safe is that when you are creating new Keys, you can also create “Groups” and assign your keys into groups. For survey takers, say you wanted to create a group called “Cash Surveys” and another called “Gift Card Surveys.” This way, you could organize your sites according to how they pay you, and drill down to exactly the group you wanted to work on right then.

Also note that like RoboForm, this one has its own built in password generator, so when you are signing up for sites to take surveys on, you can plug the information in and just have Password Safe generate you a new, unique password for each and every site. Best of all of course is the fact that you won’t have to remember any of them!

Note that this software does have one fairly big drawback. It does not have a form fill option like RoboForm and LastPass. That means that while it will save you some time, and certainly save you the headaches of trying to remember all your usernames and passwords, it won’t do as much to speed you up as the other options will. It is still worth considering, but it does have its limitations.

Below, we’ll show you some screen shots of Password Safe in action! This first shot is just of building the database initially and assigning it that Master Password.

Here, I am making a new key. For this example, I’m not going to make any groups, but I could always edit this key later and put it in a group if I change my mind about that.

Here’s what the key looks like when it is in the database and you’ve clicked the “OK” button shown just above (see next page image).

From here, if you right click on the key, you have tons of options. I am going to select the “Browse to URL + Autotype” so that it will take me to the page and fill in my account information for me. (see the next two screenshots).

About LastPassLike RoboForm, this solution comes with both a free and a paid version. The free version is quite robust, and the paid version is only a dollar a month, which is a bargain by any definition. Last Pass performs all the same basic functions as the other two, with more options that RoboForm, but an easier interface and less of a learning curve than KeePass, placing it somewhere in between those two in terms of user friendliness and usability.

Some of the features of Last Pass don’t have anything to do with survey taking, but they are worth a brief mention. Specifically, the credit monitoring. When you fill out a form, you can check a box that will tell LastPass to watch for unusual activity related to that profile’s credit or identity. With the free version, if you check the box, you’ll get an alert letting you know that something happened, but then it is up to you to research and find out what. In the Premium version, you get a fully detailed report.

There really aren’t many restrictions per se in the free version vs. the paid one. The biggest difference is that the paid version will give you much more flexibility and a great many more options overall. Whichever you opt for though, LastPass is one of the best password management solutions on the market. Really powerful, extremely flexible, safe, and secure.

Below, we’ll show you some screen shots of LastPass (the free edition) in action.

Here, the cool thing to note is that the account creation is built into the installation process.

The other great thing about LastPass is that the form fill information is also built into the installation and setup process. You are prompted about whether or not you want LastPass to help you with filling out forms, and if you click yes, then it takes you straight to the form where you can enter all of your information.

And here, I have just clicked yes, and am ready to enter my data.

The last thing to show you is how easy it is to use the LastPass form fill, once you’ve got it set up. I am going back to the site I used for RoboForm, and pretending I’m a new user to sign up again.

When I get to the registration form, I just click on the LastPass icon on my web browser, hover over “Form Fills,” then “Default,” then click “Form Fill.” Everything is done in one click! Note that you can set up multiple form fills in LastPass, just like you can set up multiple “Identities” in RoboForm.

And that’s it! Hours and hours of time saved since you don’t have to manually register at all the survey sites you’ll be working for. That’s more money in your pocket!

I have personally used these programs when taking paid surveys to increase the amount of money I earn, so I can tell you it works. I also use these programs outside of surveys as well, to help me speed up other stuff online. For example, every time I have to put my address into a website, I no longer have to type it out.
