A&E //18 NEVER SHOUT NEVER! In the late afternoon of September 25, the Puyallup Fair was filled with the music of opening bands Downtown Fiction, Rocket to the Moon, and The Maine. As lights and applause overwhelmed the stage and audi- ence, fans anx- iously waited for the award-winning indie band, Never Shout Never to make their appear- ance. Less than a week after the re- lease of their new album, Time Trav- el, the band per- formed a variety of songs from past al- bums such as Me & My Uke, and The Summer EP. Fans excited over perfor- mances of “oldie- but-goodie” songs and the just-released tunes. Seniors Tyler Dunn and Elysa Madsen enjoyed the concert and were interested in seeing the band’s new style played live. “The new album has a new sound... but it’s still amazing!” (Ty- ler Dunn). Mad- sen agreed that the new style is “different... but it’s still pretty good!” However, oth- ers weren’t so pleased with the new album. Sam Rogers, a recent GHHS graduate admitted “he isn’t doing the acous- tic stuff that ev- eryone fell in love with originally,” and confessed that she missed the older music.
