Congratulations to Wallace Behnke of Brooklyn, Steve Holte of Westby, John Ruedinger of Van Dyne and the Schneiders of Hilbert — Ron, Al, Mark, John, David and Ryan — for being selected as the 2009 Master Agriculturists! All of the winners have worn many hats in their businesses and their communities, have built top-notch farming opera- tions, and are truly deserving of the Master Agriculturist Award. The honorees will be recog- nized at an awards luncheon April 1 at the Hilton Garden Inn in Oshkosh during the Wisconsin Public Service Farm Show at the Experimental Aircraft Association Grounds. The winners were selected for their proven ability and ac- complishments as progressive farmers, and also for the time, effort and leadership they con- tribute to community, church and agricultural organizations. The Master Agriculturist awards are made not only to honor the selected individuals, but also their families. The Master Agriculturist process begins by requesting a nomination form.
