In addition to reviewing official product tutorials, like this one, that are available on the BI website, we can also search BusinessObjects’ online help if we need assistance performing key tasks in BI launch pad.

In this example, we’ll look up how to change our password and set

general preferences in the online help. After you have logged onto BusinessObjects and are on the home page, you can launch the online help from any tab by using the menu bar.

Tab to the Help menu and select Help.

SAP’s documentation page appears on your screen. In the Contents panel on the left, we can browse through the topics in logical order. Let’s look up how to change your password in BI Launch Pad.

Select the Search tab.

Select the Search box and type in Set Preferences.
