Now is the time to get right with the Lord or get left behind. The church definitely needs to be warned and needs to know. Jesus is coming and these are exciting times to be living in. Paul said in 1 Cor. 16-15, “that they have addicted themselves to the min- istry of the saints.” Everyone is addicted to something, “Why not Jesus.” “We are excited to be able to offer this community what we believe it truly needs a ministry that understands the disease of addiction as well as overcom- ing life’s challenges and we have also gone beyond the four walls to reach out and provide a safe place where men can have a life-changing experience. Those that finished their book and ready to start Book 2 in the fall received their diplomas. We had one young man who had finished two books. Then, there were those that will be moving forward from Cubbies to Sparks and ten kids from Sparks to T&T. Needless to say we are very pleased with our program and the willingness of our kids to learn all about God’s word. Bible study is so important to direct us through our daily lives. Come join us August 2-6 for Vacation Bible School, “Galac- tic Blast,” a voyage into outer space praising God. We will see space like never before, gain a new perspective on our planet earth and learn easy ‘green earth tips to practice at home. This cosmic combina- tion of faith and fun will help develop a personal relation- ship with God through Jesus Christ. CornerStone Baptist Church recently marked its first anniversary with grati- tude and praise to God “for the things He has done.” In its first year, the church’s mem- bership has grown and God has blessed us in so many ways. Dr. Neal Resue, Pastor, says “Our objective is to follow God’s Word as He instructs us in Jeremiah 6:16….ask for the old paths, where is the good way and walk therein… Our Gospel is not the ‘new modern Gospel’, but the ‘old time reli- gion’.” CornerStone Baptist Church is an old-fashioned, independent, fundamental, Bible believing, God fearing congregation. It is meeting the needs of those who desire to learn the truths of God’s Word. If you are looking for a place to worship, you will find a warm welcome at CornerStone Bap- tist Church. The church currently meets in a storefront at 35320 State Road 54, West (in the Madison Two Complex, halfway be- tween Eiland Blvd. and Dean Dairy Road). Sundays begin with coffee and donuts at 10:30 a.m. Worship services are at 11 a.m. and 6 p.m. For Sunday evening, June 13, the church is planning a Sing-A-Long. Pre enrollment is appreciated for planning pur-poses. Please call 782-1820 to enroll. Awana is over for the sum-mer. We graduated our kids on May 26 and recognized our outstanding achievers. Our kids are at the right age to start the correct journey. We will start Awana registration September 1 with our first night on the Sept. 8. In addition, you are like-wise invited to visit us for wor-

ship each Sunday. Our Fresh Start Service starts at 9:30 a.m. with Pastor Daniel Edgeman delivering God’s word. At 11:00 a.m., our traditional wor-ship service starts with Senior Pastor Don Walton preach-ing the word of God. Then at 6 p.m. we have our evening Sunday service. We hold a prayer service on Wednesday evening at 7 p.m. New Hope Baptist Church is located at the corner of Allen and Chancey Roads. We have parking in both the front and back of the church. If you have any questions please call (813) 782-6592.

Zephyr Christian Church, 5940 Dogwood St. (corner of North Ave. and 23rd St.). Come join us August 2-6 for Vacation Bible School, “Galac-tic Blast,” a voyage into outer space praising God. We will see space like never before, gain a new perspective on our planet earth and learn easy ‘green earth tips to practice at home. This cosmic combina-tion of faith and fun will help develop a personal relation-ship with God through Jesus Christ.

CornerStone Baptist Church recently marked its first anniversary with grati-tude and praise to God “for the things He has done.” In its first year, the church’s mem-bership has grown and God has blessed us in so many ways. Dr. Neal Resue, Pastor, says “Our objective is to follow God’s Word as He instructs us in Jeremiah 6:16….ask for the old paths, where is the good way and walk therein… Our Gospel is not the ‘new modern Gospel’, but the ‘old time reli-gion’.” CornerStone Baptist Church is an old-fashioned, independent, fundamental, Bible believing, God fearing congregation. It is meeting the needs of those who desire to learn the truths of God’s Word. If you are looking for a place to worship, you will find a warm welcome at CornerStone Bap-tist Church. The church currently meets in a storefront at 35320 State Road 54, West (in the Madison Two Complex, halfway be-tween Eiland Blvd. and Dean Dairy Road). Sundays begin with coffee and donuts at 10:30 a.m. Worship services are at 11 a.m. and 6 p.m. For Sunday evening, June 13, the church is planning a Sing-A-Long.
