Conservative Club of East Pasco Congressional Candidate Speaks at Conservative Club, Ja- son Sager, a Jefferson Republican candidate for United States Representative in Florida’s Congressional District Five, spoke at the Conservative Club of East Pasco, at their recent noon meet- ing at Scotland Yards Golf Club. Mr. Sager spoke of his member- ship in the Freshman 50, a coalition of candidates around the country dedicated to fiscal and legislative responsibility. This non-partisan PAC is a simple platform of six reforms that Americans are demanding: Apply the Law Equally; Term Limits; Enforce Congressional Ethics; Read the Bill; Tax Reform and Balance the Budget. He asked voters not to enter the primary election in Au- gust without knowledge of who the candidates are or what they stand for or what the issues are. In conclusion, the people must stand up and become a link in the chain of the U.S. Constitution. Kevin Wright, candidate for Florida Representative Dis- trict 61 and Seth Weightman, for Will Weatherford also gave brief talks. Several new members were officially installed by Vice-President Dick Albrecht. Hygiene products brought to the meeting by members for the Samaritan Project for the homeless were collected. This project is headed by Vice-President Rev. Tim Mitchell. The project will continue with another collection being held at their next meeting. Club President, Joe Worrell, requested the membership place their signatures on the Conservative Contract from Amer- ica. This contract will be given to all candidates for their signa- tures and to pledge to advocate on behalf of Individual Liberty, Limited Government and Economic Freedom. The next meeting will be held on Monday, June 21. Featured speakers will be Judge Debra Roberts and Attorney Gerald Fe- renchik, candidates for Judge Group 4 and State Representative Will Weatherford.
